Cracking of soils affects their geotechnical properties and behavior such as soil strength and stability. In this paper, 2D Electrical Resistivity Imaging Method, as a non-invasive technique, was adopted to investigate the effect of soil cracks of a centemetric scale on resistivity of sandy soil. The electrical resistivity measurements were carried out using ABEM SAS 300C Terrameter system at a laboratory scale using Wenner array. The aim of this study was to detect the cytogenetic effect of sodium sulphate through using cytogenetic analysis ( mitotic index and chromosomal aberrations on somatia and germ cells ) and sperm head abnormalities on white mice .
Ninety eight male mice were used in this study . To test the effect on each indicator , these animals were divided into two groups . The first one was the control group while the second was treated with sodium sulphate . Twelve Two-Dimension (2-D) survey points were performed by using Wenner-Schlumberger array configuration to take the measurements. The inverse models of two survey point appear the effect of the saline groundwater that raises from Rus Formation, which caused a significant reduction in resistivity of the groundwater-bearing zone within middle Dammam Formation along the fault plane.

Simple method has been used to determine the absence of heavy metals in an aqueous solution. Fluorescein was used as the base colorimetric materialThis was doped with CuCl2 and the final solution showeda clear change in color. This change was correlated with the change in both pH and electrical conductivity of the solution. The optical property as an obvious change of the spectra was observed. Therefore, this simple method could be proposed as a method to detectheavy metals in any solution.

Vegetable sold oils (fat of the plant) were studied spectroscopy to determine its properties when it heating more than once, in this study the number of heating was 20 times and show the fat of the plant has been greatly affected by the heat. Magnesium-doped Zinc oxide (ZnO: Mg) nanorods (NRs) films and pure Zinc oxide deposited on the p-silicon substrates were prepared by hydrothermal method. The doping level of the Mg concentration (atoms ratio of Mg to Zn was chosen to be 0.75% and 1.5%. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were performed to characterize the prepared films. Spectral and linear optical properties for a mixture of Rhodamine B (RB) and Fluorescein Sodium (Na Fl) organic laser dyes were determined at different concentrations 10-3, 10-4 M in ethanol solvent at room temperature. The intensity of absorption range is towards longer wavelengths (red shift). The quantum efficiency diminished while the radiative and fluorescence life time increased when increment concentration, organic laser dyes have a spectrum within the range 540-500 nm. Results demonstrate that a mixture of laser dyes are effective optical materials when contrasted with individual laser dyes. It can be utilized as resonator in cavity lasers.

Query expansion (QE) is a successful idea to overcome the weaknesses in the information retrieval performance. The QE requires finding out appropriate word synonyms of the query words in a process that can be made automatically without any user intervention. The candidate synonyms should be associated with an accurate meaning (sense) of the original word. Arabic language is rich in multiple meanings and this requires using the so-called word sense disambiguation (WSD). WSD in general is a task to discover the correct sense of a word within context. Total Electron Content measurements derived from Athens station ionograms (ITEC),
located near Iraq, during the ascending phase of solar cycle 24 (July 2009- April 2010),
according to availability of data, are compared with the latest version of the International
Reference Ionosphere model, IRI-2012 (IRI TEC), using two options (NeQuick, IRI01-
Corr) for topside electron density.
The results obtained from both (ITEC and IRI TEC) techniques were similar, where
correlation coefficients between them are very high. Generally, the IRI predictions
overestimate the ITEC values.

Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset (WBCD) was employed to show the performance of the Adaptive Resonance Theory (ART), specifically the supervised ART-I Artificial Neural Network (ANN), to build a breast cancer diagnosis smart system. It was fed with different learning parameters and sets. The best result was achieved when the model was trained with 50% of the data and tested with the remaining 50%. Classification accuracy was compared to other artificial intelligence algorithms, which included fuzzy classifier, MLP-ANN, and SVM. We achieved the highest accuracy with such low learning/testing ratio.
