Genotoxic effects of crude bacteriocin extracted from Citrobacter freundii were detected on albino mice bone marrow cells in vivo, using micronucleus (MN) and comet assay. The mice were administered intraperitoneally with 37.5, 75, 150 and 300 mg/kg of the extract for 24 hours. C. freundii was isolated from patients suffering from urinary tract infections (UTI). The bacteriocin producing isolates were determined using cup assayand the most efficient bacteriocin producers were selected. In this paper, we have examined the influence of heat- transfer on the magnetohydrodynamics oscillatory flow of Williamson fluid during porous medium for two types of geometries "Poiseuille flow and Couette flow". We use perturbation technique in terms of the Weissenberg number to obtain explicit forms for velocity profiles. The results that obtained are illustrated by graphs.

This study includes determining the climatic conditions and the nature of the reservoirs in the region with the determination of the flow direction of the aquifer. Identifying people by their ear has recently received import attention in the literature. The accurate segmentation of the ear region is vital in order to make successful person identification decisions. This paper presents an effective approach for ear region segmentation from color ear images. Firstly, the RGB color model was converted to the HSV color model. Secondly, thresholding was utilized to segment the ear region. Finally, the morphological operations were applied to remove small islands and fill the gaps. In this study, the stresses and displacement around a tunnel opening under water body in Baghdad city, middle of Iraq, during excavation and lining are discussed. For this purpose, the finite element method (FEM) was adopted as an effective approach to analyze the problem using (SIGMA/W) program. The research includes the study of the behavior of soil due to excavation of a tunnel by calculating the displacements and stresses in three positions of the tunnel (crown, wall, and invert) during the various stages of construction. Kefir is fermented milk made from kefir grains consist mainly of lactic acid bacteria and yeast, it has several health-promoting properties, such as antimicrobial ,antitumoral, and immunomodulating effects. However, there are few scientific reports about the effects of kefir on parasites. This work, studied the biological activity of kefir fermented against Entamoeba histolytica parasite in mice at concentration (100% and 50%) compared with the metronidazole (flagyl) drug at concentration (30 mg\ml). This package was conducted in Taiz/ Yemen as cross sectional study and mainly aimed to determine the prevalence rate of Group Aβ- herrolyhc streptococcus among school age children cases (1-15years) with pharyngitis and/ or tonsillitis. GAβHS was found in 28.6% out of the total 475 throat swab specimens, which were taken from cases with clinical sore throat. A peak of GAβHS bacterial isolates was noticed in the 6-10 years age group. The gender was found of no value as a risk factor in increasing or decreasing the prevalence rate of infection. Other risk factors were found variable in their influence as the family size, which was of high significant effect on the prevalence rate of GAβHS infection, and the seasonal variation as it was
