The Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED) problem is crucial for optimizing power system operation by minimizing costs and emissions while ensuring grid stability and meeting demand. This paper addresses the complex, nonlinear, and nonconvex nature of CEED, arising from factors like valve-point effects and transmission losses, which necessitates efficient metaheuristic algorithms. We introduce an Improved Zebra Optimization Algorithm (IMZOA), an enhanced bio-inspired technique integrating advanced adaptive foraging and dynamic defense mechanisms, along with a cubic function for CEED modeling, to improve search efficiency and convergence. IMZOA demonstrates significant numerical improvements, achieving up to a 0.80 % cost reduction for the six-unit system compared to the standard Zebra Optimization Algorithm (ZOA), minimizing hourly fuel cost to $69,563.04 for the Iraqi system, and exhibiting competitive performances with a fuel cost of $197,974.2047 per hour for the 110-unit system. IMZOA's effectiveness is validated on three benchmark systems: a six-unit IEEE test system, the 31-unit Iraqi power generation system, and a large-scale 110-unit system. Experimental results show that IMZOA significantly reduces costs and emissions compared to established algorithms like LM and SA, and improved methods such as asinhCAOA, RLADE, and the standard Zebra Optimization Algorithm ZOA. Specifically, for the six-unit system, IMZOA also showed superior environmental performance. For the Iraqi system, IMZOA outperformed PSO and other state-of-the-art approaches. Moreover, for the 110-unit system, IMZOA demonstrated competitive performance comparable to advanced algorithms like EBWO and ESNS, while maintaining lower standard deviations, indicating greater solution stability. These results underscore IMZOA's robustness and efficiency for small, medium, and large-scale CEED problems, making it a promising solution for cost-effective and environmentally sustainable power dispatch.
The investment environment is the incubator for all types of domestic and foreign investments, so if their determinants are encouraging, they increase the levels of investment flows and vice versa, as there is a relationship between the nature of the investment environment and the level of investment flows, and the determinants of the investment environment are numerous and the most important of which are security and political stability, and economic and financial factors that include relative stability In the exchange rate and inflation rates, the availability of banks and their development, transparency and integrity in administrative dealings and the lack of prevalence of administrative and financial corruption, and the clari

Thus, a translation is important as to how it relates the details of a text. That is, the text has special features which go beyond form, and these set out its distinctiveness. Here, we tackle Saleh al-Jafari's Arabic translation of "Rubbayat al-Khayyam" of Naysapour descriptively and analytically by depending on extracts from the original text. This translation is evaluated on the basis of Spanish critic Maria Carmen Valero Garces. Herein, we discuss the effectiveness of this theory in the criticism of literary texts. It has been concluded that al-Jaf

The lexicographic analysis of these words makes it possible to identify controversial issues related to their etymology and semantic development.
The study is conducted by the use of the modern Russian and Arabic dictionary, specifically, (Intermediate lexicon Dictionary

The crystalline nature of magnesium oxide was studied by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis, and the size of the sample crystals, ranging between (16.91-19.62nm), increased, while the lattice constant within the band (0.5337-0.4738 nm) decreased with increasing the cobalt concentration. The morphology of the specimens was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) which shows images forming spherical granules in addition to the presence of interconnected chips. The presence of the elements involved in the super
In this paper, certain types of regularity of topological spaces have been highlighted, which fall within the study of generalizations of separation axioms. One of the important axioms of separation is what is called regularity, and the spaces that have this property are not few, and the most important of these spaces are Euclidean spaces. Therefore, limiting this important concept to topology is within a narrow framework, which necessitates the use of generalized open sets to obtain more good characteristics and preserve the properties achieved in general topology. Perhaps the reader will realize through the research that our generalization preserved most of the characteristics, the most important of which is the hereditary property. Two t

By the studying of its most prominent types and different grammatical structures, and its deliberative function. The application of this study was the articles of the Israeli journalist Ben-Dror Yemini. Which were published on the website of Israeli newspaper " Maariv" in (2011-2012). This research is divided into two devotions: theoretically and practically. The theoretical side included an introduction to identify the article generally, and the political article. Breakouts, if exceeds its critical limits will produce problems such as loss circulation which will add to the non-productive time (NPT) thus increasing loss in costs and in total revenues. In this paper, three of the available rock failure criteria (Mohr-Coulomb, Mogi-Coulomb and Modified-Lade) are used to study and predict the occurrence of the breakouts. It is found that there is an increase over the allowable breakout limit in breakout width in Tanuma shaly formation and it was predicted using Mohr-Coulomb criterion. An increase in the pore pressure was predicted in Tanuma shaly formation, thus; a new mud weight and casing pr
