يهدف البحث الحالي الى : 1- التعرف على مستوى السلوك الحكيم لدى المراهقين . 2- التعرف على الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في السلوك الحكيم تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور – اناث ). 3- التعرف على الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في السلوك الحكيم تبعا لمتغير نوع المدرسة ( متميزين –عاديين ) . 4- التعرف على دلالة الفروق في السلوك الحكيم وفق متغير المعاملة الوالدية (تسامح - تسلط – اهمال ). وتكونت عينة البحث من (420) طالب وطالبة من طلبة الصف (الثاني والثالث و الرابع) اعدادي وتم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية طبقية من مديريات تربية الكرخ في محافظة بغداد ، اما عينة التحليل الاحصائي قد بلغت (400) طالباً وطالبة ، ولاغراض البحث قامت الباحثتان باعداد اداة لقياس السلوك الحكيم ، وتم التحقق من خصائصه السيكومترية ، المتمثلة في الصدق والتميز والثبات ، كما تم استخدام عدد من الوسائل الاحصائية منها : الاختبار التائي لعينتين ولعينة واحدة ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون واختبار شيفيه .واظهرت النتائج ان افراد العينة يتمتعون بمستوى من السلوك الحكيم ، وان هناك فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تبعاً للمعاملة الوالدية ولصالح التسامح ، و توجد فروق تتبعاً لمتغير المدرسة ولصالح المتميزين ، وكشفت النتائج ايضاً لاتوجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية وفق متغير الجنس . وتوصلت الباحثتان الى عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات.

The study used the descriptive method. A scale of (28) items was developed and divided into six dimensions: time pressure, goal achievement, limit of power, limit of budget, incompatible strategies, and unclear task.
