The article is devoted to football lexicon in Arabic and Russian. The charr acteristics that determine the coincidence of lexical units in the Arabic and Russian languages are revealed. Football related words and phrases exist in different languages and in most cases they are the same. With the develop ment of football in the world and thanks to the media, new words and terms have become firmly established in the language. This study aims to know the degree of importance and the availability of the enhancing specifications of the educational process, and the way its objectives are achieved. Such a step involves using educational techniques, laying the selection foundations, knowing the methods of their employment and tracking the obstacles that limit this employment in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. To achieve these objectives, the study followed a descriptive approach, and collected the necessary data through an integrated questionnaire prepared for the purpose of describing the phenomenon or topic. The advent of UNHCR reports has given rise to the uniqueness of its distinctive way of image representation and using semiotic features. So, there are a lot of researches that have investigated UNHCR reports, but no research has examined images in UNHCR reports of displaced Iraqis from a multimodal discourse perspective.
