In this research, optical communication coding systems are designed and constructed by utilizing Frequency Shift Code (FSC) technique. Calculations of the system quality represented by signal to noise ratio (S/N), Bit Error Rate (BER),and Power budget are done. In FSC system, the data of Nonreturn- to–zero (NRZ ) with bit rate at 190 kb/s was entered into FSC encoder circuit in transmitter unit. This data modulates the laser source HFCT-5205 with wavelength at 1310 nm by Intensity Modulation (IM) method, then this data is transferred through Single Mode (SM) optical fiber. In this research, a modified artificial hand with direct control has been designed using electrical artificial muscle wires that receive direct sensory impulses through human hand instead of using the mechanical action to open and close this artificial hand. Each finger is designed as a chain and its movements achieved through the conventional arrangement control of the electrical muscles wires. The results indicate that it is possible to design an artificial hand using electrical muscle wire for control it with high accuracy.

In the current study, two sites were selected from the city of Adhamiya, central Baghdad. The first site is the Adhamiya Corniche, which includes a sample of river water and the second includes domestic sewage in the same area. The total density of benthic invertebrates was 775 ind/m2, which is divided into 15 taxa. Biological indices were found, such as the stability index, the abundance index, the biodiversity index (Shannon’s index), the homogeneity index, and the invader’s guide. The result showed an increase in the density of benthic invertebrates, as well as an increase in the diversity of these organisms.

Survivin, a member of inhibitor of apoptosis family is increasingly used as a target for cancer therapy design because it has a key role in cell growth and inhibition of cell apoptosis. Also it can be used as a biomarker for targeting cancer because it is found in almost all cancer but not normal cells. Our strategy was to design (computationally) a molecule to be used as survivin inhibitor. This molecule was named lead10 and was used furthermore to find (virtually) existing drugs with a good survivin inhibition activity.
