استهدف البحث الحالي قياس الذاكرة العاملة لدى التالميذ ذوي صعوبات تعلم القراءة، وتحقيقا ألهداف البحث اعد الباحثان اختبار الذاكرة العاملة للتالميذ ذوي صعوبات القراءة باستعمال مهام بصرية - سمعية وتنفيذية على وفق إنموذج بادلي)Baddely)، ثم استخرج الخصائص السيكومترية لكل منهما المتمثلة بالصدق والثبات. وتحدد البحث الحالي بالتالميذ ذوي صعوبات تعلم القراءة في المدارس االبتدائية التابعة للمدير ية العامة لتربية بابل في مركز مدينة الحلة للعام الدراسي )-2222 2222(، إذ استعمل الباحثان أسلوب العينة الطبقية العشوائية في اختيار عينة البحث األساسية، وبلغ عدد ( تلميذا وقد تم تحليل ومعالجة البيانات االحصائية باستعمال معادلة أفراد العينة )57 ، الفاكرونباخ، ومعامل ارتباط بوينت باي سيريـال، و االختبار التائي )test-t )لعينة واحدة، وتوصل البحث الى نتيجة مفادها ان عينة البحث الحالي يتمتعون بذاكرة عاملة دون المتوسط، و في ضوء النتائج التي توصل ليها الباحثان يمكن التوصل الى االستنتاجات اآلتية : .2الحاجة الى معالجة صعوبات تعلم القراءة من خالل برامج تعليمية.
