The study is the product of an on-line session with Oregon University. It aims
at developing the students’ attitudes toward using computers in learning to get the
advantages of CALL and autonomous learning. The researcher has depended on a

This study is an attempt to investigate the semantic and syntactic features of English and Arabic verbs of eating. After surveying the literature on the meaning of verbs in both languages, three chapters address the major issues in this subject. The present paper addresses one of the most challenging topics in translation; namely legal translation in the framework of two different approaches; the classical (formal) and the more recent (functional).
