Characterization and antibacterial activity of biogenic iron nanoparticles using Proteus mirabilis
...Show More Authors
Abstract
<title>Background:

The green production of iron oxide nanoparticles (FeONPs) due to its numerous biotechnological uses has attracted a lot of attention and clean and eco-friendly approaches in the medical field.

Objectives:

The objectives of this study are to demonstrate the biogenic creation of FeONPs. The search for alternative antimicrobial medicines has been prompted by growing worries about multidrug resistance.

Materials and Methods:

The purpose of this work was to investigate if Proteus mirabilis was the source of green-manufactured iron nanoparticles (INPs). The Fourier transform infrared, attenuated total reflectance, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, ultraviolet–visible, and dynamic light scattering measurements were used to characterize the green synthesized nanoparticles (NPs). Using the agar-well diffusion method, the antibacterial investigation’s efficacy was evaluated.

Results:

The results found that at 128 μg/mL minimum inhibitory concentration, we have demonstrated the potent antibacterial properties of FeONPs produced through biological procedures against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to many drugs. These NPs, including their antimicrobial qualities, how they work, how they affect drug-resistant microbes, the risks involved with using them, the unique qualities of NPs, their mode of action as antibacterial properties, and the elements that influence how well they function in a therapeutic setting all are thoroughly investigated.

Conclusion:

Further research on biogenic INPs was necessary to enhance their nanopharmacological importance for biological applications, as they have demonstrated promising biomedical capabilities were successfully synthesized in a friendly environment with few costs, and the highly INPs product showed exceptional activity against bacterial strains.

The theater has live foundations that interact with all symbols and signs. It has never been far from these innovations and developments in the manner of dealing with those symbols and how and the extent of their effects on society through the world of technology because the theatrical performance contributes to its structure, a technique that is employed by designers in various technologies such as ( Music, lighting and sound effects engineer, as well as fashion designer, architecture, and modeling designer). The theater today also relied on various interactive techniques represented in the use of body language and a sign in order to communicate the meaning by forming movements, singing and dancing in order for the recipient to interact

Design Investigation of 2 × 2 Mach–Zehnder Optical Switch Based on a Metal–Polymer–Silicon Hybrid Plasmonic Waveguide
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a miniaturized 2 × 2 electro-optic plasmonic Mach– Zehnder switch (MZS) based on metal–polymer–silicon hybrid waveguide is presented. Adiabatic tapers are designed to couple the light between the plasmonic phase shifter, implemented in each of the MZS arms, and the 3-dB input/output directional couplers. For 6 µm-long hybrid plasmonic waveguide supported by JRD1 polymer (r33= 390 pm/V), a π-phase shift voltage of 2 V is obtained. The switch is designed for 1550 nm operation wavelength using COMSOL software and characterizes by 2.3 dB insertion loss, 9.9 fJ/bit power consumption, and 640 GHz operation bandwidth

Exploring the Potential of Quantum Chemical Calculations for Synthesized Quinazoline Derivatives as Superior Corrosion Inhibitors in Acidic Environment
...Show More Authors

Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is a substance that is frequently utilized in industrial operations for important tasks such as chemical cleaning and pickling metallic surfaces. Therefore, the corrosion inhibition ability of three newly synthesized quinazoline derivatives namely, 3-allyl-2-(propylthio) quinazolin-4(3H)-one) (APQ), (3-allyl-2-(allylthio) quinazolin-4(3H)-one) (AAQ), (3-allyl- 2-( Prop -2-yn -1-ylthio) Quinazolin - 4 (3H) - one) (AYQ) were theoretically determined and these compounds were characterized using Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) and 1H and 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopic. A series of quantum chemical properties of these derivatives: EHOMO, ELUMO, energy gap (ΔE),dipole moment (μ), hardness (η), soft
