
I'm a lecturer at the University of Baghdad/College of Science/ Computer Science Dept. I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2003 and 2005 from the same Dept. In 2010, I got an IT Administration Training at ZIIK/TU Berlin. In 2012, I was a candidate for the “Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for Iraq” at Kent State University, Ohio, USA. In 2020 I received my PhD degree from Computing Department at the University of Northampton, UK.

In this paper, an efficient image segmentation scheme is proposed of boundary based & geometric region features as an alternative way of utilizing statistical base only. The test results vary according to partitioning control parameters values and image details or characteristics, with preserving the segmented image edges.
