I am currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad. In the 2023–2024 academic year, I taught English to third- and fourth-year students and served as a translator for the Modern Sport journal. In the 2024–2025 academic year, I taught English to second-year students and will continue teaching the same level in the 2025–2026 academic year. During the 2024–2025 academic year, I also served as chair of the journal’s Translation Committee, where I oversaw the translation of research articles. In addition to my teaching and translation roles, I am an active member of the Research Quality Committee, the Research Ethics Committee, and the Quality Assurance Committee, contributing to maintaining and enhancing the academic, ethical, and institutional standards of research and education at the college. My academic interests include translation in the fields of artificial intelligence, general translation, and linguistics, with a particular focus on bridging language and technology in academic and scientific contexts.

The purpose of this thesis is to study and analyze the types of written, oral and nonverbal diplomatic language and to shed light on the types of diplomatic translation/interpretation. The challenges that arise from the linguistic and cultural disparities between the two languages include differences in metaphor, image, and cultural reference.
