Recent research on organic and inorganic solar cells has demonstrated that adding metal nanoparticles to the active layer can dramatically boost the performance of thin-film cells. In this research, Silver (Ag) nanoparticles have been added in CdS/ZnTe thin films that were prepared using the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique with laser energy ranging from (200-300 mJ). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was used to examine the thin films of CdS and ZnTe for structural details.
