I hold a master’s degree in English literature. My academic focus is on applying psychological and diasporic perspectives to literary analysis, particularly in modern novels. I am currently teaching Victorian novels to third-stage students and supervising a research project titled Ecological Apocalypse and Human Resilience in Margaret Atwood's MaddAddam Trilogy: A Social-Ecological Study. These roles allow me to explore literature from both historical and interdisciplinary angles, enriching my approach to teaching and research
In addition to my academic background, I am fluent in Arabic and English and have an intermediate proficiency in German. My qualifications extend to both literature and cinematic criticism, as I am particularly interested in analyzing films alongside literary works. This diverse skill set allows me to approach texts and films from multiple analytical perspectives, enriching my research and teaching in literature.
My research interests lie in the intersection of psychology and literature, with a particular focus on modern novels. I am especially interested in exploring how psychological theories can be applied to literary analysis to uncover deeper insights into characters and narratives. Additionally, I am drawn to diaspora studies and aim to examine themes of identity, displacement, and cultural hybridity within novels, using these concepts to enrich our understanding of literature

Currently, I am supervising a student whose research is titled Ecological Apocalypse and Human Resilience in Margaret Atwood's MaddAddam Trilogy: A Social-Ecological Study. This project explores themes of ecological collapse and resilience, applying social-ecological theory to analyze Atwood's trilogy. My role involves guiding the student in connecting literary analysis with environmental and social frameworks, which aligns closely with my own interest in interdisciplinary studies within literature
