The preparation of some new coordination compounds for nikel (II), manganese (II), copper (II), cobalt (II)and mercury (II), with ligand obtained from Benzoinand2-amino pyridine. The ligand[6-(2-hydroxy-1,2-diphenylethylideneamino)pyridin-3-ylium)](L) was made from reactin ethanol with metal salts in (1:1)(metal : ligand)ratio.[MLCl] was the inclusive formula of the complexes where M= Mn(II),Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II) and Hg(II). Metal analysis by electronic spectra, atomic absorption ,infrared spectra, 1H&13C-NMR(only ligand)spectral studies, magnetic moment and molar conductance measurements used to describe the compounds. The determinations indicated that the ligand coordinates with the metal (II) ion in neutral tridentate manner th

Show MoreSix mixed ligand complexes were prepared from malonic acid (MA), nicotinic acid (NA), and 2-aminopyridine (AP) in a (1:1:1:1) molar ratio (M: MA: NA: AP.), using aqueous ethanol as a reaction medium. The prepared compounds were analyzed by flame atomic absorption, (C.H.N.) analysis, and FTIR, UV-Vis, and mass spectroscopy, as well as conductivity measurement and magnetic susceptibility studies. Based on the combined analytical data, the prepared complexes were proposed to adopt an octahedral geometry. A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. The emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and fungi has led to poor patient outcomes and limited treatment options, promp

It is a hyperassembly of energy in the form of adipose tissues which has worse effects on health. The major factors of the obesity epidemic are: heavy meal which is rich in lipids, carbohydrates resulting in overweight and eventually obesity, and a decrease in physical activity that leads to defects in calorie conception. In health care facilities ferritin assay is used as a screening test to detect iron deficiency; however, its reliability in obesity has been questioned. The present study aimed to assess and compare the incidence of obesity, hyperferritinemia, hyperlipidemia, and hypouricemia among middle-ag
