assumed that the disease divided the population into five classes: immature
susceptible individuals (S1) , mature individuals (S2 ) , infectious individual

The present study develops the sorption model for simulating the effects of pH and temperature on the uptake of cadmium from contaminated water using waste foundry sand (WFS) by allowing the variation of the maximum adsorption capacity and affinity constant. The presence of two acidic functional groups with the same or different affinity is the basis in the derivation of the two models; Model 1 and Model 2 respectively. The developed Bi-Langmuir model with different affinity (Model 2) has a remarkable ability in the description of process under consideration with coefficient of determination > 0.9838 and sum of squared error < 0.08514. The protective effect of vitamin E against acetaminophen (paracetamol) induced
hyperlipidemia in female rabbits was tested. Twenty female rabbits were randomly
divided into four groups (five animals in each group). The first group was dosed
with acetaminophen at 200 mg/kg (BW). The second group was dosed with 50
mg/kg. BW of vitamin E and the third group was treated with 200 mg/kg (BW) of
acetaminophen and 50 mg/kg (BW) of vitamin E, while the last was administered
with distilled water and considered as a control group. These animals were orally
dosed using a micropipette for 14 days.

The Topography, Physical and Optical properties of as-deposited copper oxide CuO absorption layer sprayed using homemade fully computerized CNC spray pyrolysis deposition technique at different deposition speed are reported. These layers are characterized by UV-Visible spectrophotometer, optical microscope, and thickness monitor studies. The optical transmittance study indicates that these layer exhibit high absorption coefficient in the visible range. The optical band gap is found to be at about at speeds (3,6 mm/s). Better homogeneity in CuO layer is found at the speed 5 mm/s. The film thickness lies within the 129-412 nm range.

This research adopts the estimation of mass transfer coefficient in batch packed bed distillation column as function of physical properties, liquid to vapour molar rates ratio (L / V), relative volatility (α), ratio of vapour and liquid diffusivities (DV / DL), ratio of vapour and liquid densities (ρV / ρL), ratio of vapour and liquid viscosities (μV/ μL).

Nine physico-chemical parameters of water, as well as the phytoplankton community, of Al-Chibayish marsh were studied.
