Prey fear of a specialist predator in a tri-trophic food web can eliminate the superpredator
...Show More Authors

We propose an intraguild predation ecological system consisting of a tri-trophic food web with a fear response for the basal prey and a Lotka–Volterra functional response for predation by both a specialist predator (intraguild prey) and a generalist predator (intraguild predator), which we call the superpredator. We prove the positivity, existence, uniqueness, and boundedness of solutions, determine all equilibrium points, prove global stability, determine local bifurcations, and illustrate our results with numerical simulations. An unexpected outcome of the prey's fear of its specialist predator is the potential eradication of the superpredator.

Study of the Optical Properties of 3MPA CdTe and 3MPA CdTe/CdSe Quantum Dots at PH 12 in Different Periods of Time
...Show More Authors

This research aims to study the optical characteristics of semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) composed of CdTe and CdTe/CdSe core-shell structures. It utilizes the refluxed method to synthesize these nanoscale particles and aims to comprehend the growth process by monitoring their optical properties over varied periods of time and pH 12. Specifically, the optical evolution of these QDs is evaluated using photoluminescence (PL) and ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy. For CdTe QDs, a consistent absorbance and peak intensity increase were observed across the spectrum over time. Conversely, CdTe/CdSe QDs displayed distinctive absorbance and peak intensity variations. These disparities might stem from irregularities in forming selenium (Se) layers a

Comparison of the Hydraulic Effect of Straight and Curved Groynes in the Curved Canal
...Show More Authors

The dynamics of flow and turbulence surrounding groynes in a bending canal are highly complex behaviors. This study, which was conducted by HEC-RAS version 6.5 software, focuses on the use of curved groynes in 180°-degree bend canals to study the flow behavior in bending by calculating the velocity of flow along the concave outer edge, in which bank erosion usually occurs, the flow velocity at the inner edge, and calculating the vortices that form between the groynes. The results showed that the curved groynes outperformed the commonly used straight groynes in the same conditions. The findings indicate that curved groins decrease the flow velocity at the outer edge by 99%, while straight groins achieve a reduction in fl

Role of Wind and Fear on the Dynamic of a Prey and Two Competing Predators
...Show More Authors

An essential tool for studying the web is its ability to show how energy moves through an ecosystem. Understanding and elucidating the relationship between species variety and their placement within the inclusive trophic dynamics is also beneficial. A food web ecological model with prey and two rival predators under fear and wind flow conditions is developed in this article. The boundedness and positivity of the system’s solution are established mathematically. The stability and existence constraints of the system’s equilibria are examined. The proposed system’s persistence limitations are established. Additionally, the bifurcation analysis of every potential equilibrium is examined using the Sotomayor theorem. To describe the

The influence of fear on the dynamics of harvested prey-predator model with intra-specific competition is suggested and studied, where the fear effect from the predation causes decreases of growth rate of prey.  We suppose that the predator attacks the prey under the Holling type IV functional response. he existence of the solution is investigated and the bounded-ness of the solution is studied too. In addition, the dynamical behavior of the system is established locally and globally. Furthermore, the persistence conditions are investigated. Finally, numerical analysis of the system is carried out.
