Spectroscopic characterization for new complexes with 2,2′‐(5,5‐dimethylcyclohexane‐1,3‐diylidene)bis(azan‐1‐yl‐1‐ylidene)dibenzoic acid
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>New series of metal ions complexes have been prepared from the new ligand [2,2′‐(5,5‐dimethylcyclohexane‐1,3‐diylidene)bis(azan‐1‐yl‐1‐ylidene)dibenzoic acid] derived from 5,5‐dimethylcyclohexane‐1,3‐dione and 2‐aminobenzoic acid. Accordingly, mono‐nuclear Ni(II), Pd(II), Re (II), and Pt(IV) complexes were prepared by the reaction of previous ligand with NiCl2.6H2O, PdCl2, ReCl5, and H2PtCl6.6H2O, respectively. The compounds have been characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR), ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis), mass, H1‐, and C13‐nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) curve, Bohr magnetic (B.M.), elemental microanalyses, metal ions, chloride containing, and molar conductance. These reviews uncovered octahedral geometries for the Re(V) and Pt (IV) complexes and tetrahedral for Ni (II) complex and square planer for Pd (II) complex. The investigation of complexes development by means at molar proportion and occupation strategy in DMF solution has been researched, and results were reliable to those found in the solid complexes with a proportion of (M:L) as (1:1).</p>

ABSTRACT<p>A Schiff base ligand (L) was synthesized via condensation of N‐(1‐naphthyl)ethylenediamine dihydrochloride with phthalaldehyde. The ligand was characterized by FT‐IR, UV–Vis, 1H NMR, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis (C, H, N). Five metal complexes (Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II)) were prepared with the ligand in a 1:1 (M:L) ratio using an aqueous ethanol solution. The complexes were characterized by FT‐IR, UV–Vis, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis (C, H, N). Additionally, 1H NMR spectroscopy was employed for Cd(II) complex. Characterization of fluid properties and pseudo-fraction analysis for oils with low gas oil ratios
...Show More Authors

The Sadi reservoir is one of the largest and most important unconventional tight oil reservoirs in southern Iraq. However, it suffers from low production rates, necessitating many development strategies that require a correct and reliable characterization of reservoir fluid properties. Whilst these properties are originally obtained from laboratory experiments, measurement errors often occur despite rigorous workflows, which negatively affect the calculation of reservoir fluid properties. This study utilizes the fluid thermodynamics characterization program (PVTp) to generate a reliable model for determining the oil properties of Sadi reservoir. A methodology was developed to simulate fluid thermodynamic tests, including Differ

Fatigue Characterization for Composite Materials used in Artificial Socket Prostheses with the Adding of Nanoparticles
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The prostheses sockets use normally composite materials which means that their applications may be related with the human body. Therefore, it was very necessary to improve the mechanical properties of these materials. The prosthetic sockets are subjected to varying stresses in gait cycle scenario which may cause a fatigue damage. Therefore, it is necessary or this work to modify the fatigue behavior of the materials used for manufacturing the prostheses sockets. In this work, different Nano particle materials are used to modify the mechanical properties of the composite materials, and increase the fatigue strength. By using an experimental technique, the effect of using different volu</p> ... Show More

Bis-Schiff Bases of Isatin Derivatives Synthesis, and their Biological Activities: A Review
...Show More Authors

Isatin is a heterocyclic molecule that belongs to one of the most important classes of organic compounds known as indolines. Isatin, isatin analogs, and their Schiff bases have recently attracted a lot of attention in medicinal chemistry. Isatin, itself, shows various biological activities such as antiviral, anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, and anticonvulsant. Bis- Schiff bases containing isatin moiety have been known to possess a wide spectrum of pharmacological activities. This review offers up-to-date information on the most active isatin bis-Schiff bases, which would include anticancer, antimicrobial, antiviral, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic activities. These observations c

The formation of  Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II)-complexes (C1-C5) respectively was studied with new Schiff base ligand [benzyl(2-hydroxy-1-naphthalidene) hydrazine carbodithioate  derived from reaction of  2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde and benzyl hydrazine carbodithioate. The suggested structures of the ligand and its complexes have been determined   by using C.H.N.S analyzer, thermal analysis, FT-IR, U.V-Visible, 1HNMR, 13CNMR , conductivity measurement , magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. According to these studies,  the ligand coordinates as  a tridentate with metal ions through nitrogen atom of azomethane , oxygen atom of  hydroxyl, and  sulfur atom of thione
