Experimental results on harmonic distortions in 13.56 MHz RF Argon glow discharge using different grounded electrodes areas and electrodes spacing are presented. The experiment is carried out at four pressure values. RF power values used are between 20 and 90 watts. The results indicate significant increase in distortions at two specific values of the cone angle enclosing the two electrodes within its geometrical volume. The computation of the cone head angle gave the symmetry discharge or asymmetry as well as when the angle is small the condition is near symmetry discharge associated with decrease in the nonlinearity.

This study presents determination of the paleostress magnitudes and orientation of Bekhme Structure in Shaqlawa area northeastern Iraq. Paleostress Analysis of slip-fault measurements is performed using Right dihedral, Lisle diagram and Mohr Circles methods. Depending on Mohr Circles, Bott law and vertical thickness, the magnitudes of the paleostress at the time of the tectonic activity were determined. Three plant species were picked randomly and their alcoholic extracts have been screened to know their effects on the phagocytic capability and intracellular killing of yeast by human peripheral macrophages. Macrophage cultures were incubated with different concentration of each plant extract: for 15 min., 30 min .and 45 min. The phagocytes activity in Iresine herbstii extract was significantly (p?0.05) increased with increasing dose and time of incubation. Experimental investigations have been carried out to investigate the pH-control problems of industrial electroplating wastewater treatment plants. The accurate and sensitive PID control system could treat most problem and disturbances in the normal operation of the water treatment. However, conventional treatment was replaced by proprietary treatment agent called a QUASIL which was found to be more effective for a wide range of pH.

The current study showed that the plants were collected from 23 geographical locations in Brenaj, Wasit, Iraq. The region was characterized by a great diversity of wild plants spread densely in this region. The results were as follows: 32 families, 149 species. Asteraceae was the most widespread with 29 species from the group of dicotyledons, followed by the Fabaceae family (19) species, but there are 13 plant families, with one plant species recorded for each plant family. in Brenaj, Wasit included: Aizoaceae, Capparaceae, Convolvulaceae, Frankeniaceae, Molluginaceae, Papaveraceae, Phyllanthaceae, Primulaceae, Rutaceae, Rubiaceae, Verbenaceae, Zygophyllaceae, Urticaceae, while the plant family Poaceae was most widespread in genera and spec
