One of the scientific education aims, preparing a student able to keep up with the scientific developments and innovations around him and make him contribute, adapt, investment and continue development. The concepts of nanotechnology from scientific innovation open up an important area of thinking and intervention in the field of chemistry applications in daily life, the technological changes lead to social, political and economic changes which result that the students to have the knowledge, understanding, awareness, appreciation and sense in applications of modern technology for their use optimally, in order to cope with these scientific and technological changes. The research aims at finding out the correlation between the acquisition of the concepts of nanotechnology in chemistry students in the college of Education for pure sciences / Ibn al-Haytham and their technological awareness. The research sample consisted of (100) male and female students in the chemistry department with 63% of the research community. The main target of this paper is to determine the optimum time for preventive maintenance on machines. Tow methods has been implemented estimating the optimum time duration for preventive maintenance . the first techniques use scheduling depending on data concerning the machine maintenance cost and halted cost from the production reach to the optimum time for maintenance which reflect the minimum cost. Where as the second techniques depends on reability function to estimate the optimum duration time which reflect the minimum cost. The tow techniques above by which we count on in fixing the preventive maintenance both give same result . we also prove that the scheduling method best than the reability function .
