Kinetics study on the phenol oxidation by catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) using CuO.NiO/Al2O3 as heterogeneous catalyst is presented. 4 g/l phenol solution of pH 7.3 was oxidized in a trickle bed reactor with gas flow rate of 80% stochiometric excess (S.E).. In order to verify the proposed kinetics, a series of CWAO experimental tests were done at two temperatures (140 and 160° C), oxygen partial pressures (9 and 12 bar), and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 h-1). A characteristic study of a passively Q-switched diode pumped solid state laser system is presented in this work. A novel welded demountable shear connector for sustainable steel-concrete composite structures is proposed. The proposed connector consists of a grout-filled steel tube bolted to a compatible partially threaded stud, which is welded on a steel section. Objective: The present study aimed to determine the association of quality of life with the resilience of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses. Methods and Materials: A cross-sectional study was performed, including 105 ICU nurses from five hospitals in Iraq, using a convenience sample method. Data were gathered through a self-administered questionnaire that includes three sections: the demographics, the Brooks Quality of Nursing Work Life survey, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale-10 (CD-RISC-10). Findings: The QWL of the ICU nurses was moderately satisfied (mean = 161.42), and the level of resilience was moderate (mean = 26).
