In this study, we have created a new Arabic dataset annotated according to Ekman’s basic emotions (Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness, Sadness and Surprise). This dataset is composed from Facebook posts written in the Iraqi dialect. We evaluated the quality of this dataset using four external judges which resulted in an average inter-annotation agreement of 0.751. Then we explored six different supervised machine learning methods to test the new dataset. We used Weka standard classifiers ZeroR, J48, Naïve Bayes, Multinomial Naïve Bayes for Text, and SMO. This paper tackles one of the Iraqi EFL learners’ difficulties of translating English culinary verbs into Arabic. It is considered significant for both translators and students of translation. It probes why Iraqi EFL learners are unable to find the appropriate Arabic equivalents of some English culinary verbs. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral counseling program in enhancing self-management in reducing the academic procrastination of tenth-grade male students. The sample consisted of (26) male students divided into an experimental group of (13) students and a control group of (13) students. Two scales of self-management and academic procrastination were used, prepared by the researcher. The counseling program was prepared by the researcher. In this study, new derivatives of Schiff bases of 2-thio-5-aryl- 1,3,4-oxadiazole have been synthesized. The structures of these derivatives were characterized from their melting points, infrared spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
