In mammals, the kidneys originate in an embryo from the mesoderm through three excretory organs, namely: Pronephros, Mesonephros, and Metanephros. After the formation of Metanephros is completed, the kidneys begin to form nephrogenesis through mesenchymal cells located at the tip of the ureteric bud, that contribute in the formation of glomerulus and Renal tubules. The stages of glomerulus formation in the embryo of albino mice at the age of 14 to 19 days of gestation were studied. It was obtained after the sacrifice of the expectant mother and the kidneys were excised from the embryos and fixed using Aqueous Bouin's solution, Microscopic slices with a thickness of 6 microns were then made in a paraffin method and were photographed by a camera for microscopic imaging. Histological measurements were performed on them using the program IMAGE J program and analyzed statistically using the SPSS program. Results of the current study showed the presence of five stages of glomerulus formation, namely, the renal vesicle, which represents the first stage in the formation of the nephron and glomerulus. This is followed by the Comma shape stage, S-shaped stage, Capillary loop stage and finally the Mature glomerulus. This is surrounded by a capsule, known as Bowman’s capsule being part of the Malpighian or Renal corpuscle. The statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences between the average diameters of the glomerular development stages, and that the mature glomerulus was larger in diameter than the rest of the stages. The study aims to determine the stages of glomerulus formation and histologically measure its diameter in the embryo of a Mus musculus.
Urinary tract infections are mainly caused by uropathogenic Escherichia coli, which represent a significant global issue along with the rising of antibiotic resistance and treatment challenges. The aim of this study was to evaluate ciprofloxacin efficacy as a treatment in animal models following infection with multidrug-resistant UPEC and multidrug-susceptible UPEC and to determine the nephrotoxic effect of these antibiotics on the renal cortex. Up to 76 E. coli isolates were collected from UTI patients in Baghdad province, characterized by morphological and biochemical features, and confirmed using the Vitek-2 compact system. Mice were orally infected via gastric gavage with G33 using a bacterial load of 107 cells/ml, followed by p

Amino acids also provide the body with energy through their carbon structures. The study analyzed the amino acid in the kidneys of the albino mice embryo at 17 and 19 gestation days, using a high-performance liquid chromatography device (HPLC). Samples were obtained after removing them from the embryo and placing them in an ice bath to prevent cell lysis and acid loss. The study found 18 amino acids in the kidneys of the albino mice embryo. They are Asparagine (Asn), Glutamine (Glu), Serine (Ser), Glycine (Gly), Threonine (Thr), Histidine (His), Cysteine (Cys), Alanine (Ala), Proline

Also, chromium has been used recently as a food supplement in regime systems, So it's essential to evaluate the effects of these two elements in a diabetic state and evaluate their antidiabetic ability. Seventy male adult mice were used and grouped into seven groups. Group 1: received no treatment. Group 2 received 10mg/kg body weight daily orally of ZnONPs for a month. Group 3 received 1mg/kg body weight for a month daily oral of CrO3NPs. Group 4: received a single dose of 150mg/kg body weight of alloxan. Group 5 received a single alloxan dose of 150 mg/kg and daily oral 10 mg/kg

Many passages for the virus in chick-Embryo were established as a substitute method to the tissue culture which is highly caustic in contrast to the chick embryo. The virus passed ten consequent passages which lead to the reduce of the titer of the virus from 106.53 TCID50/ 0.1 ml in cattle testis tissue culture to 103 TCID50/ 0.1 ml. the pathogenecity of attenuated FMD virus were also studied in both chick-embryo and guinea pigs. Using agar gel diffusion test precipitation antibodies was detected in guinea pig serum after 14 and 21 days post exposure to the attenuated virus. The inoculated guine

This study aimed to identify the histological structure and embryonic development of the gas bladder . The results revealed that the gas bladder of the adult fish consists of single chamber, paraphysoclistous , and its wall consist of three layers. The primordium of the gas bladder appears in 2,5 mm fish embryo as an evagination from the right side of endoderm of foreguts wall. This primordium consists of two thecae, inner, is simple columnar epithelium and outer originates from undifferentiated mesoderm. Simultaneously with the appearance of gas gland in the ventral side of the sac in 4 mm embryo, morphological and histological chan

Because the body is electrochemical in nature, any force that disrupts or changes human electrochemical events will affect the physiology of the body by destabilization and interruption of many chemical body substance including growth factors. The insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) are a family of mitogenic proteins that control growth, differentiation, and the maintenance of differentiated function in numerous tissues. It fulfils an important role in growth and development of teeth, mandible, maxillae, and tongue. Platelet derived growth factors (PDGF) are proteins that regulate cell

Oral disease is a health problem that is not only a matter of oral hygiene and local condition, but can also be a precursor to other dangerous and potentially life threatening illnesses. The present study was designed to analyze the main clinicopathological aspects of most common oral lesions in patients who visit the Oral Diagnosis Clinic of the College of Dentistry, University of Sulaimani, Kurdistan region, Iraq. Patients and methods: This prospective study was performed on 3144 patients from July 2009-July 2010. In this study a total of 3144 patients were e

Statistically, there were high significant differences at the probability level (P≤0.001) between all ages together, and the highest concentrations of Oleic acid (C18:1) and Linoleic acid (C18:2) were in embryo age (7) days incubation, while in embryo age (11) days incubation Stearic acid (C18:0) and α-Linolenic acid (C18:3) were higher concentration and Palmitic acid (C16:0) was the highest concentration in the adul
