Objective: to assess the Nursing College students' health-protective behaviors (HPBs) and their
association with some sociodemograghic characteristics.
Methodology: A sample of 100 Students (males and females) was selected through a systematic
random sample that were at the third and fourth year of Nursing College in Baghdad University for the
period of April 1st through April 30th 2007. Data were collected through the use of a self-report

Electrochemical decolorization of direct black textile dye was studied in the presence of sodiumhydroxide (NaCl). Electrochemical cell occupy about 1 liter of working electrolyte supplied with graphiteelectrodes for both anode and cathode was constructed for this purpose. Decolorization percent, treatment time, power consumption, and pH were studied as a function of the applied voltage and salt concentration. Results show that decolorization increase with increasing salt concentration and applied voltage. Best decolorization of 86% can be achieved after 17 min at 7 volt and 5 g/l salt concentration. BACKGROUND: Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common type of thyroid carcinoma that represents a set of characteristic of nuclear features in which the diagnosis is depend. AIM: The study aimed to review different variants of PTC which has different malignant potential in correlation with many prognostic and clinical factors in Iraq. The dynamics of a single condensing two-phase bubble of two different dispersed-continuous systems were studied. The systems were, CCl₄ - water and CCl₄ - 100% glycerol. Cinephotography was used to determine the change in height, diameter and time. These results were used to determine the experimental rise velocity of the bubble, which was compared with a theoretical one based on some equations used. It was found that the velocity of the first system remained almost constant, while it decreased gradually for the second system.

This study revealed the efficiency of Bacillus subtilisin degrading two textile dyes (disperse red and disperse yellow), the rates of red dye removal when measured after 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours for the concentrations of 50 ppm were 51.67, 67.56, 84.67 and 95.33%, for the concentration 150 ppm were 41.67, 62.67, 80.67 and 89.67%, while for the concentration 300 ppm were 25.67, 42.67, 71.67 and 84.33%. To explore the potential for in vitro rapid regeneration of Spanish dagger (Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata'), different concentrations of 6-Benzyladenine (BA), 1-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and combinations of both were evaluated for callus induction initiated on leaf and bud (terminal and axillary buds) explants using Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium. Callus response induction percentage, fresh weight, color and texture of the callus were assessed after 1.5 and 6.0 months in culture.
