Bipedal robots, designed to replicate human locomotion, face significant balance challenges due to instability and high degrees of freedom. This study examines dynamical models, balance control strategies, and locomotion methodologies. Dynamical models are categorized into simplified, centroidal dynamics, and whole-body dynamics models. Simplified models, such as the Linear Inverted Pendulum Model (LIPM), approximate the robot as a point mass at the Center of Mass (CoM) but neglect upper-body dynamics and complex terrain interactions. Centroidal dynamics models incorporate CoM motion, contact forces, and angular momentum for improved disturbance rejection but require extensive computational resources. Whole-body models achieve high fidelity by integrating joint torques and external forces but are constrained by computational complexity. Balance control methods for standing bipedal robots are classified into joint-specific and whole-body approaches. Ankle and hip strategies address small perturbations but are insufficient for real-world disturbances. Whole-body control utilizes all body segments to modulate contact forces and regulate momentum, enhancing stability against external disturbances, though challenges remain in force modeling and state estimation. Locomotion control is divided into model-based and learning-based approaches. Model-based strategies include LIPM and its extensions-based methods, Zero Moment Point (ZMP)-based methods, which ensure dynamic stability by maintaining moments within the support polygon; Capture Point (CP)-based methods, which predict foot placement to prevent falls; and Divergent Component of Motion (DCM)-based approaches, which adjust footsteps based on CoM divergence. While learning-based methods leverage Reinforcement Learning (RL) and human motion data for adaptive and energy-efficient gait generation. This study highlights challenges in energy efficiency, terrain adaptation, and scalability, proposing sensor fusion, energy-aware RL reward functions, and hierarchical control architectures as potential solutions.
There is no doubt that teachers are the leaders of positive changing in community where they directed the students and build their brains. In our current generation that characterized by accelerated technological development that communication changes, economic and politics, needs from the teacher an active leadership skills that match with the soul of our generation and contribute in confrontation the current challenges and the future challenges in the form that lead to create a conscious generation where they will be a basic brick for the future community where the listeners looking forward the education where they support the continuity communication of develop process, economy, scientifically and in all life fields. This article proposes an adaptive integral sliding mode controller (AISMC) based on a singular perturbation method and two state observers for the FJR to achieve high performance. First, the underactuated FJR is modeled into two simple second-order fast and slow subsystems by using Olfati transformation and singular perturbation method, which handles underactuation while reducing noise amplification. Then, the AISMC is proposed to effectively accomplish the desired tracking performance, in which the integral sliding surface is designed to reduce cha

Generally, the curent review articule includes all methods for coring, logging, testing, and sampling. Also the methods for deciphering logs and laboratory tests that are relevant to assessing formations beneath the surface, including a look at the fluids they contain are discussed. Casing is occasionally set in order to more precisely evaluate the formations; as a result, this procedure is also taken into account while evaluating the formations. The petrophysics of reservoir rocks is the branch of science interested in studying chemical and physical properties of permeable media and the components of reservoir rocks which are associated

The review reviews studies published 2018-2025, concentrating on model structure to detect fights, bullying, vandalism, and aggressive behavior on problematic campuses due to occlusion and light variations and complicated human interactions. The research design includes a comparative study of different deep learning networks, such as CNNs, RNNs, 3D CNNs, attention-based networks, transformers, graph neural networks, neuro-fuzzy, and multimodal systems and federated learning methods. The paper also assesses benchmark

Objectives Assessment the patterns of characterizations of rectal cancer. Evaluation of the efficacy, and long-term survival of pre-/ postoperative chemoradiation. Collecting all eligible evidence articles and summarize the results.
Methods By this systematic review and meta-analysis study, we include data of chemoradiation of rectal cancer articles from 2015 until 2019. The research was carried out at Baghdad Medical City oncology centers. Accordance with the
Developing an efficient algorithm for automated Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) segmentation to characterize tumor abnormalities in an accurate and reproducible manner is ever demanding. This paper presents an overview of the recent development and challenges of the energy minimizing active contour segmentation model called snake for the MRI. This model is successfully used in contour detection for object recognition, computer vision and graphics as well as biomedical image processing including X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound images. Snakes being deformable well-defined curves in the image domain can move under the influence of internal forces and external forces are subsequently derived from the image data. We underscore a critical appraisal

Electronic and hand searches were conducted in three electronic databases for relevant articles published up to March 2022. Retrieved articles went through a two-step screening procedure, and the risk of bias (RoB) was assessed by the Joanna Briggs Institute checklists. The incidence of GBT after OT was set as the primary outcome, while the secondary outcomes were the risk factors associated with GBT and alveolar bone loss following OT. Out of 421 papers, 5
