The Co(II), Ni(II) ,Cu(II), Zn(II) ,Cd(II) and Hg(II) complexes of mixed of amino acid (L-Proline) and Trimethoprim antibiotic were synthesized. The complexes were characterized using solubility, melting point, conductivity measurement ,. and determination the percentage of the metal in the complexes by flame(AAS).Magnetic susceptibility, Spectroscopic Method [FT-IR and UV-Vis]. Draw the proposed structure of the complexes using program , Chem. office 3D(2006). The ligands and there metal complexes were screened for their antimicrobial activity against four bacteria (gram + ve) and (gram-ve){Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus}.The proposed structure of the complexes using program , Chem office 3D(2006).The general formula have been given for the prepared mixed ligand complexes [M(Pro) 2 (TMP)(H 2 O)]where L-Proline (abbreviated as (ProH) = C 5 H 9 NO 2 And Pro-= C 5 H 8 NO 2 deprotonated primary ligand, L-proline. Synthesis and Characterization of Vanillin Schiff Base Complexes with Paracetamol and Divalent Metal Ions: Antimicrobial Activity Study
...Show More Authors

The work presented in this research deals with the synthesis and physico-chemical characterization of Schiff base ligand (HL) created from vanillin with p-aminoazobenzene containing (N, O) as donor atoms. The synthesis ligand (HL) was characterized by the CHN, (FT-IR), (UV-Vis), (1H,13C-NMR) and mass spectroscopy, in addition the melting point were used to charac-terize the Schiff base. A series of mixed metal ligands complexes were formed by using Schiff base ligand (HL) as primary ligand and Paracetamol (PAR) as a secondary ligand with five divalent metal ions; Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd(II) and Hg. The formed complexes were characterized by using some analytical and standard spectroscopic methods; molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibil-ity, FT-IR,

Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial of Some New 4,4-(pyridine-2,6-diylbis(1,3,4-oxadiazole-5,2-diyl))bisphenol Polymer
...Show More Authors

4, 4s (pyridine 2, 6 diylbis (1, 3, 4 oxadiazole 5, 2 diyl)) bisphenol monomer (3) was synthesized from cyclization of Ns2, Ns6 bis (4 hydroxybenzylidene) pyridine 2, 6 dicarbohydrazide (2) in the presence of bromine in glacialacetic acid. Newly five polymers (P1P5) were synthesized from reaction bis 1, 3, 4 oxadiazole bisphenolmonomer with five different di acid chloride. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized polymers was screened against gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Polymers P4 and P5 exhibited significant antibacterial against all microorganisms, as well these polymers showed highest antifungal activity.

Two new ligands Na2[ H3B (BDIA)].0.05H2O (L1)(BDIA = 1-Boranyl-2,3-
Dihydro-1H-Indol-3-yl)]Acetic Acid and Na3[H2B(BDIA)2].0.3H2O.0.3CH3Ph (L2)
were synthesized by reaction of NaBH4 with indole -3- acetic acid (IAA) . The
coordination properties of ligands were studied with Co(II) , Ni(II) , Cu(II) and
Pt(IV) ions. Characterization and structural aspects of the prepared compounds were
elucidated by 1HNMR, FTIR electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, elemental
and metal analysis, thermal analysis (TG & DTG) and conductivity measurements.
The obtained data for metal complexes suggested square planar geometry for
copper complexes, octahedral geometry for nickel and platinium complexes and

Synthesis, Characterization of Chitosan para- hydroxyl Benzaldehyde Schiff Base Linked Maleic Anhydride and the Evaluation of Its Antimicrobial Activities
...Show More Authors

Current research included preparation, characterization of some new chitosan- hydroxy benzaldehyde-Schiff bases with maleic anhydride. The present study aimed to the synthesis and characterization of novel chitosan Schiff base compounds using para- hydroxy benzaldeh and maleic anhydride. The  derivative of the  schiff-chitosan base, which is associated with different drugs, has been replaced with   different  amino  and  hydroxy  drugs.  The derivative is characterized by different analytical techniques. The results of FT-IR studies clearly indicate construction of the chief amine group in chitosan and the emergence of new bands that correspond to the association of maleic anhydride with the chitosan base. The new bidentate ligand 2-amino-5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole (Apods) was prepared by the reaction of benzaldehyde semicarbazone with bromine and sodium acetate in acetic acid gave. The prepared ligand was identified by Microelemental Analysis, FT.IR, UV-Vis and 1HNMR spectroscopic techniqes. Treatment of the prepared ligand with the following selected metal ions (MnII, CoII, NiII, CuII and ZnII) in aqueous ethanol with a 1:2 M:L ratio, yielded a series of complexes of the general formula [M(L)2Cl2].The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption, (C.H.N)Analysis, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. Chloride ion content was also evaluated by Mohr metho

A new Azo‐Schiff base ligand L was prepared by reaction of m‐hydroxy benzoic acid with (Schiff base B) of 3‐[2‐(1H–indol‐3‐yl)‐ethylimino]‐1.5‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐ylamine. This synthesized ligand was used for complexation with different metal ions like Ni(II), Co(II), Pd(II) and Pt(IV) by using a molar ratio of ligand: metal as 1:1. Resulted compounds were characterized by NMR (1H and 13C), UV–vis spectroscopy, TGA, FT‐IR, MS, elemental analysis, magnetic moment and molar conductivity studies. The activation thermodynamic parameters, such as ΔE*, ΔH*, ΔS*, ΔG*and
