Women infertility is a common reproductive system disorder. Diagnosis and treatment are characterized by limited availability and high costs. This paper intends to evaluate the levels of endogenous antioxidant proteins metallothionein 2 (MT2) and metallothionein 4 (MT4) in the serum of both infertile and fertile women, as well as to assess the association between these proteins and total oxidant capacity (TOC), total antioxidant capacity (TAC), oxidative stress index (OSI), serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), and serum testosterone. This case-control study involved one hundred eighty Iraqi women, categorized into three categories: primary infertile women (P group), secondary infertile women (S group), and healthy fertile women (C group). With regard to the control group, the results demonstrated a significant rise in serum MT2 levels within the primary infertile group, while serum MT4 level displayed a noticeable decrease in the infertile groups. The rise in MT2 could serve as a means to compensate for a decline in MT4, pointing out the potential antioxidant contribution of these proteins in the progression of infertility. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) outcome demonstrated excellent sensitivity and specificity, alongside an elevated AUC for MT2, MT4, and other biomarkers in a diagnosis of women infertility.
1, 3, 4-oxadiazole-5-thion ring (2) successfully formed at position six of 2-methylphenol and five of their thioalkyl (3a-e). Furthermore 6-(5-(Aryl)-1, 3, 4-oxadiazol-2-yl)-2-methylphenol (5a-i) were formed at position six by two method. The first method was from cyclization their correspondinghydrazones (4a-e) of 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzohydrazide (1) using bromine in glacial acetic acid. The second method was from cyclization the hydrazide with aryl carboxylic acid in the presence of phosphorusoxy chloride. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized from their IR, NMR and mass spectra. The antioxidant properties of these compounds were screened by 2, 2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazide (DPPH) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) a

Metabolic side effects of antipsychotic drugs, including lipid abnormalities, disturbed glucose metabolism, and weight gain, can have a major impact on treating psychiatric patients. The intent of this study was to investigate whether there is an associated link between the genetic polymorphism at -759C>T in the promoter region of the 5-hydroxytryptamine 2C receptor (HTR2C) gene and the metabolic syndrome driven by olanzapine in schizophrenia patients. A cross-sectional study that involved fifty hospitalized patients with schizophrenia. The patients were split into two groups (metabolic and non-metab

The participants were divided into two groups: Group 1 comprised 60 osteoporotic women and group 2 consisted of 50 healthy women. (MMP and LOX) were estimated using a quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA. The results showed significant differences in serum LOX, age, ALP, Mg, and T-score %, while no significant differences i

The synthesized ligand was characterized by 1HNMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis spectra and (C.H.N) analysis. Complexes of (YIII and LaIII ) with the ligand were prepared in aqueous ethanol with a 1:2 M:L ratio and at optimum pH. The prepared complexes were characterized by using flame atomic absorption, FT-IR, UV-Vis spectra,(C.H.N) analysis and conductivity measurement. The stoichiometry of complexes was studied by the mole ratio and job methods. A concentration range (1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M) obeyed Beer's law, the complex solutions show high values of molar absorption. This can be via computers or mobile technology. This study aims to identify the relationship between VLE and Iraqi EFL Academic Students` Achievement. The study design is a descriptive correlational one, the instruments are used as an achievement test, and the Distance Education Learning Environments Survey (DELES) was distributed by email addresses to develop settings for investigating how virtual environments affect students' achievement in online courses. The sample of the study was selected in a randomized method in this study to examine the relationship between the (100) students enrolled in the

New derivatives of Schiff bases were synthesized from the aldehyde derivative (Ma2) which was produced by reacting the mefenamic acid (Ma) with thionyl chloride to obtain the acid halide derivative (Ma1). Compound (Ma1) was dissolved in DMF and mixed with p-hydroxybenzaldehyde which was previously dissolved with pyridine to obtain the aldehyde derivative (Ma2). In the final step, derivatives of Schiff bases were synthesized by reacting the aldehyde (Ma2) with a number of different aromatic primary amines in the presence of glacial acetic acid to obtain the new derivatives Ma [3-10]. The new prepared compounds were characterized by melting points and with spectral data FT-IR, 13C-NMR and 1H-MNR (some of them). The vital effectiven
