Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic chronic disease, with global estimation increase in patient (around 100 million in 2030).The aim of the current study is to investigate vitamin D, C-reactive protein and estradiol levels in pre and postmenopausal Iraqi women with type 2 diabetes (T2MD).A total of 176 female distributed into two groups: the first included 90 women withT2MD (43 pre and 47 post-menopausal); the second group included 86 healthy subjects (41 pre and 45 postmenopausal) considered as control. This study has shown that women in premenopausal (20-40 years) had highly significant difference in the estradiol and vitamin D levels in diabetes subjects (62.192 ± 17.643pg/ml, 10.522 ± 1.958ng/ml) compared with healthy (131.793 ± 18.003, 28.573 ± 12.302) respectively, also significant difference in CRP level (8.485 ± 4.318) was indicated compared with non-diabetes (4.811 ± 3.778pg/ml) and there was significant increase in body mass index in diabetes compared to healthy. Postmenopausal female results showed significant difference inestradiol and vitamin D which reached (44.82407 ± 19.626pg/ml, 9.830 ± 5.845ng/ml) compared with healthy (122.531 ± 15.738pg/ml, 25.492 ± 10.967ng/ml) respectively, body mass index showed significant increase also, however, there was no difference in CRP level. A significant correlation was observed between CRP and estradiol level in premenopausal women, however, there was no significant in others factors.the search found high correlation of CRP and estrogen in type 2 diabetes compared with healthy women.
Different parameters of double pipe helical coil were investigation experimentally. Four coils were used; three with a curvature ratio (0.037, 0.031, and 0.028) and 11mm diameter of the inner tube while the fourth with 0.033 curvature ratio and 13 mm diameter of the inner tube. The hot water flow in the inner tube whereas the cold water flows in the annulus. The inlet temperatures of hot and cold water are 50 0C and 18 0C respectively. The inner mass flow rate ranges from 0.0167 to 0.0583 kg/s. The results show the Nusselt number increase with increase curvature ratio. An experimental study was carried out for an evaporative cooling system in order to investigate the effect of using an aluminum pad coated with fabric polyester.
