The goal of our study is to perform detailed multiband surface photometry of the spiral galaxy NGC 4448 and its brightest star-forming regions. The structure and composition of the stellar population in the surface brightness galaxy NGC 4448 was studied using BVR CCD photometry. The observations were obtained on the 1.88 m optical telescope of Kottamia Astronomical Observatory (KAO), Egypt. In this paper, silicon carbonitried thin films were prepared by the method of photolysis of the silane (SiH4) and ethylene (C2H4) gases, with and without ammonia gas (NH3), which is represented by the ratio between the (PNH3) and (PSiH4 + PC2H4 + PNH3), (which assign by the letter X), X has the values (0, 0.13, 0.33). This method carried out by using TEA-CO2 laser, on glass substrate at (375 oC), deposition rate (0.416-0.833) nm/pulse thin film thickness of (500-1000) nm. The optical properties of the films were studied by using Absorbance and Transmittance spectrums in wavelength range of (400-1100) nm, the results showed that the electronic transitions is indirect and the energy gap for the SiCN films increase with increasing of nitrog

         In this research, we exclude starch indicator preparation,that is  used in official phenol assay method. The liberated iodine, in presence of chloroform, was acting as indicator and titrated with sodium thiosulfate until getting a sharp colorless end point. Similarly, starch was cancelled during both blank and standardization of bromine water solution experiments needed in phenol assay. The results obtained were the same volumes and weights as that achieved using starch with just about 0.03% difference in sample procedure. Finally, this work will enable us to save time, effort, fuel and materials spended in laboratory.

In this research we prepared CdS thin films by Spray pyrolysis method on a glass substrates and we study its structural , optical , electrical properties .The result of (X-Ray ) diffraction showed that all thin films have a polycrystalline structure , The relation of the transmission as a function of wavelength for the CdS films had been studied , The investigated of direct energy gap of the CdS its value is (2.83 eV). In Hall effect measurement of the CdS we find the charge carriers is p – type and Hall coefficient 1157.33(cm3/c) ,Hall mobility 6.77(cm2/v.s)
