This article exposes how George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) launches severe attacks against all the vices and the social maladies that were widely spread in his time especially the romantic notions about war and soldering. This study is a qualitative study. Through satire, George Bernard Shaw mocks on and ridicules all the follies and the misconceptions of the characters in war and militarism in his well-known play Arms and the Man (1894). Here the dramatist satirizes the romantic notions of war that glorify such a terrible event. Shaw’s message is that there can be peaceful alternatives to perpetual fighting. He was dedicated throughout his life to curbing violence, especially that of wars, and Arms and the Man was one of the vehicles he used to plead his case.
The aim of this work was to prepare zeolite type 13X from locally available kaolin and to study the effects of using some binding materials through the process of agglomeration of this zeolite. This study was focused on using kaolin binder in different weight percents (10,15,25,35 and 45%).Physical and mechanical properties of the agglomerates such as porosity , apparent density , pore volume, crushing strength , loss on attrition , surface area and finally the adsorption capacity had been measured and evaluated .The preparation step was achieved by mixing the reactants consisting of metakaolin , source of silica as ( sodium trisilicate ) and sodium hydroxide . In this research, new series of Furo-2-quinolone [FQ] compounds have been synthesized. In this study the design and installation of evaporative air cooler was carried out using completely outdoor air (fresh air) according to two stage evaporative cooling principle. The laboratory equipment was installed by designing and manufacturing a cross flow plate heat exchanger, where aluminum plates used for this purpose with dimensions (50 × 30 × 40 cm). The surfaces of heat exchanger were covered by sawdust from wetted channels side, to increase the percentage of wetting these surfaces and hence improve the performance and efficiency of air cooler.
