An experimental program was conducted to determine the residual of composite Steel Beams-Reinforced Concrete (SB-RC) deck floors fabricated from a rolled steel beam topped with a reinforced concrete slab, exposed to high temperatures (fire flame) of 300, 500, and 700ºC for 1 hour, and then allowed to cool down by leaving them in the lab condition to return to the ambient temperature. The burning results showed that, by exposing them to a fire flame of up to 300ºC, no serious permanent deflection occurred. It was also noticed that the specimen recovered 93% of 19.2 mm of the deflection caused by burning. With the increasing intensity of the ecological and environmental problems and the scarcity of fresh water, this paper was introduced to investigate the ability to use treated wastewater as a cooling media via studying its behavior throughout a cooling tower. The simultaneous transfer of heat and mass from the treated wastewater to air over splash-fill packing arranged in a zigzag manner was studied. The characteristic of the cooling tower, the outlet water temperature, and the rejected heat were investigated as the water-to-air ratio and inlet water temperature were varied. The core results show that the cooling tower of the tower decreases with increasing water-to-air ratio, and increases with the raise of inlet water temperature.

Abstract

The research aims to measure family negligence and its relationship with internet addiction among university students. The researcher has developed a scale of (20) items to measure the negligence of family, which was applied to (308) male and female university students in the first and fourth stages. The research concluded that University students suffer from family negligence. The research sample has an addiction to the Internet. There is a relationship between family neglect and addiction to the Internet among university students. The researcher came out with a number of suggestions and recommendations.

Background: Morganella morganii is one of the important nosocomial pathogens that may cause urinary tract infection and bacteremia.Methods: The above bacterium was identified from 250 bacterial strains which were isolated from 220 urine samples of patients with urinary tract infection. Antimicrobial susceptibility, by using disk diffusion method, of isolates was tested against some antibiotics.Results: Two M. moganii strains were isolated from female catheterized urinary tract patients, and identified by conventional biochemical tests and API20E system at the first time in Iraq.
