This study has been done on plant [Adhatoda vasicia , Acanthaceae family],which has been collected from gardens of university of Baghdad The leaves of plant were extracted by methanol alcohol obtain the crude extraction good ratio(30%).Eighty swabs or samples were collected from several wounds patients of hospitals in Baghdad city.These swabs were cultured on blood and MacConkey ager to isolate bacteria and identified by appearance and bio chemical tests.The results showed that(60)somples were positive(75%)for tests bacteria white the other(20)swabs were negative(25%).The bacteria were identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa ,Staphylococcus awreus , Esherichia coli,Proteus spp and Klebsiella spp; and their number percentage were(32)isolates(

This paper concerned with study the effect of a graphite micro powder mixed in the kerosene dielectric fluid during powder mixing electric discharge machining (PMEDM) of high carbon high chromium AISI D2 steel. The type of electrode (copper and graphite), the pulse current and the pulse-on time and mixing powder in kerosene dielectric fluid are taken as the process main input parameters. The present study investigated the impact of fuel kind on the emitted emissions at the idling period. Three types of available fuels in Iraq were tested. The tests conducted on ordinary gasoline with an octane number of 82, premium gasoline with an octane number of 92, and M20 (consist of 20% methanol and 80% regular gasoline). The 2 liters Mercedes-Benz engine was used in the experiments.

The results showed that engine operation at idle speed emits high levels of CO, CO₂, HC, NOx and noise. The produced emission levels depend highly on fuel type.
