Abstract Lateral Epicondylitis (LE) which has been referred to as the Tennis Elbow as well is a lesion affecting common tendinous origins of wrist extensors due to chronic overuse injury that results in damaging common extensor tendons which join forearm extensor muscles to humerus. The aim of the present evidence-based clinical statement is reviewing scientific evidences for efficacy of a variety of the rehabilitation methods, chronic lateral epicondylitis management. It is focused upon treating chronic lateral epicondylitis and the latest developments in physiotherapy area for managing chronic lateral epicondylitis. Due to the fact that primary physical impairments in the LE are decreased is the strength of the grip, fundamentally due to the pain and motor weaknesses, there is a necessity in designing successful program of rehabilitation that is focused upon the physical impairments and not just the symptoms. Which is why, the main aim of the successful management of the condition is electrotherapy and therapeutic exercise, focusing upon the reduction of the pain at the initial stage and later on enhances the functional outcome. The latest advances in the therapeutic approaches such as the manipulations, sports taping had shown good evidences in LE rehab that mainly focuses on the reduction of the pain. Pain reduction in the early stages is helpful in the process of recovery due to the fact that it motivates client to carry on with the physical therapy. Which is why, the latest advancements in the physical therapy with some approaches such as the manipulation, soft tissue release have good clinical evidences in LE management in addition to other musculo-skeletal conditions.
Pilot-scale dead end microfiltration membranes were carried out to determine the feasibility of the process for treating the oily wastewater which discharge from some Iraqi factories such as power station of south of Baghdad and the general company of petrochemical industries. Polypropylene membranes (cylindrical shape) with different pore diameters (1 and 5 micron) were used to conduct the study on micromembrane process. The study addressed the change in the nature of the land cover of the Al-Jadriya Twist area for the period from 1976-2024 with an area of (140 km2)and for a period of (48 years) based on satellite images and their analysis using geographic information systems. The main classifications of the area were reached (water cover, residential areas, vegetation cover, in addition to empty, unused areas). The extracted data indicate a decrease in the water cover and the change rate reached (-14.29) and the residential areas increased with a change rate of (28.26), while the vegetation cover rate was recorded from (45 km2) to (66 km2) and the empty areas had a change rate of (-78.57).
