This experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding diets containing different levels of parsley on the blood biochemical characteristics of local Iraqi geese. A total of twenty-four local geese, one year old, were used in this experiment during the period from the beginning of October to the end of December. The birds were allocated for Four treatment groups consisted of six geese each. Treatment groups were as follows: Control diet (T1) (free from parsley), T2: Control diet + 80 g / d parsley, T3: Control diet + 160 g / d parsley; T4: Control diet + 240 g / d parsley. At the end of experiment, blood samples were obtained from all geese by venipuncture from brachial vein and blood plasma samples were prepared. Blood biochemical traits included in this study were blood plasma concentrations of glucose, total protein, albumen, globulin, uric acid, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), calcium, phosphorus and creatinine and blood plasma activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) enzymes. Results revealed that supplementing the diet of geese with different levels of parsley (T2, T3 and T4) resulted in significant (p< 0.05) increase in blood plasma glucose, total protein, albumen, globulin, HDL, calcium, phosphorus and ALP, and significant (p< 0.05) decrease in uric acid, total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, VLDL, and creatinine in comparison to the control group (T1). Whereas, there were no significant (p> 0.05) differences between all experimental groups with respect to blood plasma AST and ALT. However, T3 group (160 g parsley / day) and T4 group (240 g parsley / day) recorded the best results concerning the majority of blood biochemical traits included in this study as compared with T1 (control group) and T2 (80 g parsley per day). In Conclusion: supplementing the ration of geese with parsley resulted in significant improvement in most of blood plasma traits involved in this study. So, parsley can be used as an effective feed additive for enhancing general physiological status of birds
A new Mannich base ligand was prepared by reacting the 2-chloro.-N-(5-mercapto-1, 3, 4-thiadazol -2-yl) acetamide and Piperidine in the presence (formaldehyde) (L) ligand. A series of ligand complexes were prepared from (L) with the metal ion Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), Pd (II), Pt (IV), and Au (III). Various spectroscopic techniques such as C.H.N.S, FTIR, UV-VIS, , 1HNMR, 13CNMR, Magnetic moment, and molar conductivity successfully characterize the obtained compounds. The M: L ratio was determined using the molar ratio method in solution. All prepared compounds' antibacterial and antifungal activity was studied against two types of bacteria and one type of fungi at a rate of 0.02M. The standard ΔH° f and ΔEb of the ligands an

This method is based on formation a burgundy color complex between methyldopa andammonium ceric (IV) nitrate in aqueous medium using long distance chasing photometer NAG-ADF-300-2. The linear range for calibration graph was 0.05-8.3 mmol/L for cell A and 0.1-8.5 mmol/L for cell B, and LOD 952.8000 ng /200 µL for cell A and 3.3348 µg /200 µL for cell B respectively with correlation coefficient (r) 0.9994 for cell A and 0.9991 for cell B, RSD % was lower than 1 % for n=8. The results were compared with classical method UV-Spectrophotometric at λ max=280 n

A series of air-stable complexes with distinctive octahedral moieties was created by equal molar ratio (1:1:1). The formation of these compounds was verified using detecting analysis techniques incorporating mass spectra, which validated the achieved geometries. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis demonstrated how the ligands (H2L and bipyridyl) are chelated as tridentate (ONO) and bidentate (NN) groups, respectively and the coordination with the metal ions. These complexes were isolated and characterized by (FT-IR) and (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, flame atomic absorption technique, thermogravimetric analysis, in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. Most complexes were mononuclear and with octahedral geometry, except Cd (II) with tetrahedral geometry, and V (IV) with square pyramidal geometry. A theoretical treatment of the ligands and the prepared complexes in gas phase was done using two programs Hyperchem.8 and Gaussian program (GaussView Currently Available Versions (

The complexes having the general formula [M2LCl4] (where L=butane-1,4-diyl bis (2-(z)-1-(pyridine-3-ylethylidene amino))ethyl carbamodithioate, M= Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Hg(II)), were prepared by the reaction of the mentioned metal salts and the ligand. The resulting binuclear complexes were characterized by molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility ,infrared and electronic spectral measurements. CNT/Li+/GCE and C60/Li+/GCE were prepared by modifying CNT/GCE and C60/GCE in Li+ solution via cyclic voltammetry (CV) potential cycling. The sensing characteristics of the modified film electrodes, demonstrated in this study for interference of Mn2+ in different heavy metals ion esp. Hg2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+. The interfering effect was investigated that exert positive interference on the redox peaks of Mn2+. This research aims to knowledge of the scope of applying the international specification of which is regarded to occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001) second edition for year 2007 by The AL-Mammon Factory / The General Company For Vegetable Oils Industry in order to diagnosis the gap between specification requirements and reality by using the checklist made based upon the items of the specification, after translating the English copy into Arabic. The results of the research and analysis that occupational health and safety management system in comparison to the specification requirements in all of its main items, which was (%22.26) applied and documented partly, this refer to the existence of great gap (%7
