Machine Learning-based Information Security Model for Botnet Detection

Botnet detection develops a challenging problem in numerous fields such as order, cybersecurity, law, finance, healthcare, and so on. The botnet signifies the group of co-operated Internet connected devices controlled by cyber criminals for starting co-ordinated attacks and applying various malicious events. While the botnet is seamlessly dynamic with developing counter-measures projected by both network and host-based detection techniques, the convention techniques are failed to attain sufficient safety to botnet threats. Thus, machine learning approaches are established for detecting and classifying botnets for cybersecurity. This article presents a novel dragonfly algorithm with multi-class support vector machines enabled botnet detection for information security. For effectual recognition of botnets, the proposed model involves data pre-processing at the initial stage. Besides, the model is utilized for the identification and classification of botnets that exist in the network. In order to optimally adjust the SVM parameters, the DFA is utilized and consequently resulting in enhanced outcomes. The presented model has the ability in accomplishing improved botnet detection performance. A wide-ranging experimental analysis is performed and the results are inspected under several aspects. The experimental results indicated the efficiency of our model over existing methods.

Detection of Aflatoxin M1 in Pasteurized Canned Milk and Using of UV Radiation for Detoxification

The current study was designed to investigate the presence of aflatoxin M1 in 25 samples of pasteurized canned milk which collected randomly from some Iraqi local markets using ELISA technique. Aflatoxin M1 was present in 21 samples, the concentration of aflatoxin M1 ranged from (0.25-50 ppb). UV radiation (365nm wave length) was used for detoxification of aflatoxin M1 (sample with highest concentration /50 ppb of aflatoxin M1 in two different volumes ((25 & 50 ml)) for two different time (15 & 30 min) and 30, 60, 90 cm distance between lamp and milk layer were used for this purpose). This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate key hematological parameters as potential indicators for liver metastasis in Iraqi patients. A nonlinear edge –preserving smoothing filter for edge detection on color and gray satellite images

A nonlinear filter for smoothing color and gray images
corrupted by Gaussian noise is presented in this paper. The proposed
filter designed to reduce the noise in the R,G, and B bands of the
color images and preserving the edges. This filter applied in order to
prepare images for further processing such as edge detection and
image segmentation.
The results of computer simulations show that the proposed
filter gave satisfactory results when compared with the results of
conventional filters such as Gaussian low pass filter and median filter
by using Cross Correlation Coefficient (ccc) criteria.
