Bored piles settlement behavior under vertical loaded is the main factor that affects the design requirements of single or group of piles in soft soils. In this research, an organobentonite (HDTMA-BT) was prepared by modifying a jordanian bentonite (BT) with hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide.
