The present study sought to identify the negative effects on pregnant patients and those suffering from appendicitis who underwent appendectomy. Furthermore, the quality of life of the participants was evaluated in order to ascertain any statistical differences in Iraq during the period spanning from 2022 to May 2024. The cases encompassed 110 patients diagnosed with acute appendicitis who received treatment across multiple hospitals in Iraq during the period spanning from 2022 to May 2024. The participants in the study ranged in age from 18 to 40 years, with a mean age of (27.15 ± 4.28) years in the control group and from 20 to 50 years in the laparoscopic appendectomy group, with a mean age of (29.28 ± 3.45) years. A statistical analysis was conducted to ascertain whether there was a significant difference in the baseline data between the two groups (P > 0.05), and this indicated that the two groups were comparable. Regarding newborns, the following data is collected: weight (g) ± 200.93. The data presented in Table 4 provides a comprehensive overview of the outcomes observed in patients undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy (Operating time (min): 40-80 min; length of postoperative stay (days): 3-6 days) and open surgery (50-80 min; 5-8 days). The newborn data set includes weight (g) of 3400 ± 200.93, gestational age (d) of 280.1 ± 9.8, Apgar score < 7 at 5 minutes for patients 10, and pH of umbilical cord < 7.15 for patients 4. The data set from the open group shows a weight of 3100.3 ± 199, gestational age (d) of 277 ± 7.9, and Apgar score < 7 at 5 minutes for 17 patients. In cases where surgical intervention is deemed necessary, laparoscopic appendectomy is recommended for pregnant patients. Laparoscopy is considered to be both technically safe and feasible during pregnancy when performed by a laparoscopic expert.
This study presents, for the first time, an innovative Jet Plasma-assisted technique for the green synthesis of TiO₂@Ag core–shell nanoparticles using chard leaf extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. The Jet Plasma provides a highly energetic environment that accelerates nucleation and core–shell formation at low temperatures without toxic precursors. The synthesized nanoparticles exhibited uniform and stable structures, as confirmed by comprehensive characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and zeta potential analysis. XRD patterns confirmed the crystalline anatase

The effects of MnO₂ NPs on kinetics and diffusion were also analyzed. The synthesized NPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), with XRD confirming the nanoparticle size of 6.23 nm. The adsorption kinetics were investigated using three models: pseudo-first-order (PFO), pseudo-second-order (PSO), and the intraparticle diffusion model. The PSO model provided the best fit (R² = 0.999), indicating that the adsorpti

This research aimed to utilize Normalized Difference Vegetation index (NDVI) and Subtracted (NDVI) for investigating the current vegetation cover at last four decay. The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is the most extensively used satellite index of vegetation health and density. The primary goals of this research are gather a gathering of studied area (Karbala province) satellite images in sequence time for a similar region, these image captured by Landsat (TM 1985, TM 1995, ETM+ 2005 and Landsat 8 OLI (Operational Land Imager) 2015. Show MoreOne of the concerns of adopting an e-voting systems in the pooling place of any critical elections is the possibility of compromising the voting machine by a malicious piece of code, which could change the votes cast systematically. To address this issue, different techniques have been proposed such as the use of vote verification techniques and the anonymous ballot techniques, e.g., Code Voting. Verifiability may help to detect such attack, while the Code Voting assists to reduce the possibility of attack occurrence. In this paper, a new code voting technique is proposed, implemented and tested, with the aid of an open source voting. The anonymous ballot improved accordingly the paper audit trail used in this machine. The developed system,

Also we studied some pawlak's concepts and generalization rough set theory, we introduce a new types for approximation rough digraphs depending on supra open digraphs. In addition, we present two various standpoints to define generalized membership relations, and state the implication between it, to classify the digraphs and help for measure exactness and roughness of digraphs. On the other hand, we define several kinds of fuzzy digraphs. We also introduce a topological space, which is induced by reflexive graph and tolerance graphs, such that the graph may be infinite. Furthermore, we offered some properties of th

The bidente ligand was reacted with the metal ions MnII,FeIIandCrIIIin(2:1)mole ratio via reflux in ethanol using Et3N as a base to give complexes of the general formula: [ M(H2L)2(H2O)x]Cly The synthesized compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods[ I.R , UV-Vis, A.A and H1 NMR]along with melting point, chloride content and conductivity measurements. The complexes were screend for their in vitro antibacterial activity against one strain of staphylococcus as Gram(+) positive and one strain of pseudomonas as Gram(-) Negative, using the agar diffusion technique.
