The study aimed to explore the effectiveness of using rational judgment strategy in teaching science to develop scientific thinking for second-grade students. The researcher utilized the quasi-experimental approach based on (the pre/post designing) of two groups: experimental and control. As for tools: a test of scientific thinking prepared by the researcher that proved its verification of their validity and reliability. The current research tackles the self-efficacy and its relation to the cognitive assessment for the daily disturbances for the University of Baghdad students. Two criteria have been adopted to achieve the objectives of the research. The sample of this study consists of 200 male and female students who were chosen randomly. The data were analyzed statistically, revealing that the university students owned their own self-efficacy as well as a cognitive assessment for the daily disturbances and they recognized them as self-threatening. أهمية البحث والحاجة إليه :

      يعد نسيان المثيرات المعلوماتية التي يتعلمها أو يطلع عليها الفرد في حياته من المشكلات التي يعاني منها الأفراد في جميع مناحي الحياة وليس في مجال الدراسة الأكاديمية فحسب. وبالتالي فان هناك حاجة ملحة ومهمة لابتداع طرائق ووسائل وإمكانيات يمكن عن طريقها التقليل من نسيان المثيرات المعلوماتية المختلفة التي يتعلمها الفرد في حياته اليومية.

The present study aims at exploring tow cultural intelligence scales of preparatory school students. It also aims at finding out the statistically significant differences according to gender and specification. Accordingly, the present study seeks to answer the following questions:

1. Is there cultural intelligence of the preparatory school students?
2. Is there any statistically significant differences according to gender and specification variables?
3. Is there a scale more effective than cultural intelligence scales?

The stratified random sampling method is used to for selecting the sample of (216) students of scientific and humanistic specifications from
