Assessment of serum Interleukin-1β and its correlation with periodontal health status during pregnancy
...Show More Authors

Background: Pregnancy is a stressful state of increased inflammatory activity, and pregnancy – associated hormone changes can influence periodontal tissues, these inflammatory activity lead to production of inflammatory mediators. Interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β) is a potent pro-inflammatory cytokines that is consistently associated with periodontal diseases. This study was designed to determine the periodontal health status and detect the serum level of IL-1β in the healthy pregnant women at first, second and third trimester and compare it with healthy non pregnant women, and determine its correlation with different clinical periodontal parameters. Preparation of Electrical Conducting Polymer CompositesFrom Polyvinylchloride (PVC) Resin and StudyingSome its Electrical Properties
...Show More Authors

The D.C electrical and thermoelectrically properties of randomly mixed isolator – electrolyte system as (Al/ PVC – LiF/Al) junction consisting of polyvinyl chloride (PVC)resin reinforced with Lithium Fluoride (LiF) powder were studied. A comparison is made the properties of (PVC) material with varying percentage of (LiF) powder (0%, 30%, 50%, 80%)to find out the effect of reinforcement of isolator material. The composites dissolving in 10ml form tettraHaedroflourn (THF) and Solution were the castled in Petri dish and Laved it dry in the air, The out coming Sample were disc - Like shape of a diameter of about 3cm and thickness reneged between (0.01- 0.018) cm . The composites dissolving in 10ml form tettraHaedroflourn (THF) a

Abstract
The ongoing COVID‐19 pandemic caused by SARS‐CoV‐2 is associated with high morbidity and mortality. This zoonotic virus has emerged in Wuhan of China in December 2019 from bats and pangolins probably and continuing the human‐to‐human transmission globally since last two years. As there is no efficient approved treatment, a number of vaccines were developed at an unprecedented speed to counter the pandemic. Moreover, vaccine hesitancy is observed that may be another possible reason for this never ending pandemic. In the meantime, several variants and mutations were identified and causing multiple waves globally. Now the safety and efficacy of these vaccines are debatable and recommended to d
... Show More

Effect of Temperature on Gas and Liquid Products Distribution in Thermal Cracking of Nigerian Bitumen
...Show More Authors

The increasing population growth resulting in the tremendous increase in consumption of fuels, energy, and petrochemical products and coupled with the depletion in conventional crude oil reserves and production make it imperative for Nigeria to explore her bitumen reserves so as to meet her energy and petrochemicals needs. Samples of Agbabu bitumen were subjected to thermal cracking in a tubular steel reactor operated at 10 bar pressure to investigate the effect of temperature on the cracking reaction. The gas produced was analyzed in a Gas Chromatograph while the liquid products were subjected to Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. Heptane was the dominant gas produced in bitumen cracking at all temperatures and the r
