The effect of ethanol and methanol solvent, and their mixture has been studied on the absorption and fluorescence spectra of laser dye Rhodamine B at concentration of (10-4) Molar at room temperature. This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological frequency and the accuracy of receiving a serve in volleyball. The researchers used a descriptive approach, which is best suited to the research problem. The study sample consisted of 12 players from the University of Baghdad volleyball team. Ten players were selected purposively, and two were excluded from the research sample for use in a pilot study, as well as players who participate in volleyball at sports clubs. The sample size represented 83% of the original population. We report herein an innovative approach to prostate tumor therapy using tumor specific radioactive gold nanoparticles (198Au) functionalized with Mangiferin (MGF). Production and full characterization of MGF-198AuNPs are described. In vivo therapeutic efficacy of MGF-198AuNPs, through intratumoral delivery, in SCID mice bearing prostate tumor xenografts are described. Singular doses of the nano-radiopharmaceutical (MGF-198AuNPs) resulted in over 85% reduction of tumor volume as compared to untreated control groups. The excellent anti-tumor efficacy of MGF-198AuNPs are attributed to the retention of over 90% of the injected dose within tumors for long periods of time. Intravascular embolisation of foreign bodies (FB) is a rare, serious complication that may occur during central venous line insertion. A 39-yearold male in a critical condition presented to casualty department with a through-and-through chest gunshot wound. Chest X-ray showed left haemothorax; an urgent chest tube was introduced and central venous access was introduced via the right femoral vein. The guided wire used in the procedure was unintentionally pushed to reach the right ventricular apex. Echocardiography confirmed FB location.
