Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effect of the idea filtering strategy on the achievement of second-intermediate school female students in science. The two researchers adopted the experimental method and the experimental design with partial control in the two groups (experimental group and control group). This paper aims to decide the best parameter estimation methods for the parameters of the Gumbel type-I distribution under the type-II censorship scheme. For this purpose, classical and Bayesian parameter estimation procedures are considered. The maximum likelihood estimators are used for the classical parameter estimation procedure. The asymptotic distributions of these estimators are also derived. It is not possible to obtain explicit solutions of Bayesian estimators. This study aims to find the effectiveness of GeoGebra software in the achievement and habits of mind of eighth grade female students.

The research sample consisted of (62) students and divided into two groups.  The first one is the experimental group (35 students) and it was taught using GeoGebra software, and the second group is the standard group (27 students) and it was taught using the traditional method of teaching. The aim of this study is to recognize the influence of model of active thinking in achievement ofeighth grade students andtheir visual thinking in science.The finds of this research show the superiority students of the experimental group who studied the science material by using the active thinking model on the students of the control group who studied by usual method, in the achievement test. Also the finds show that the students of the experimental group are more successful than students of control group in the test of visual thinking, so the two null hypotheses have been rejected. In light of the results of the research, numbers of recommendations were made.

ان الهدف من هذا البحث هو التعرف على أثر انموذج التفكير النشط في تحصيل طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط لمادة العلوم و تفـكيرهم البصري. تكونت عينة البحث من (58) طالباً، يتوزعون بين مجموعتين احدهما تجريبية و اخرى ضابطة. تم اعداد اداتين مقننتين احداهما لقياس التحصيل والاخرى لقياس التفــكير البصري، وبعد تطبيق تجربة البحث والحصول على البيانات، التي تمت معالجتها احصائيا باستخدام البرنامج الاحصائي(SPSS)؛ كشفت النتائج عن تفوق
