Targeted research to find control procedures to reduce contamination of drinking water and whether the public water systems monitor the channels properly and it is free from all pollution to try to reduce the phenomenon of environmental pollution of drinking water and therefore its impact on improving the health status and economic development. Thus, the practical side took the proposed framework to reduce the contamination of drinking water in the province of Baghdad, and the role of environmental control to reduce this pollution and to eliminate the problem of providing drinking water in the countr.

In the current work various types of epoxy composites were added to concrete to enhance its effectiveness as a gamma- ray shield. Four epoxy samples of (E/clay/B4C) S1, (E/Mag/B4C) S2, (EPIL) S3 and (Ep) S4 were used in a comparative study of gamma radiation attenuation properties of these shields that calculating using Mont Carlo code (MCNP-5). The study included the collection of samples of raw cow milk to isolate Leuconostoc bacteria, samples were sub cultured on De-Man Rogosa Sharpe-Vancomycin medium, the pure colonies were selected and subjected to the cultural and microscopically tests, according to that 25 cocci bacterial isolates were obtained, then isolates were subjected to biochemical tests.
