Education received the attention of the monarchy in Iraq, especially after the developments that the country witnessed after Iraq gained independence and joined the League of Nations in 1932 AD in all political, economic and cultural aspects. In this regard, due to its distinguished geographical location, where the atmosphere, the natural environment and the religious and political standing were available, which made it a center of attraction for most Iraqi families and political figures. Learning and pioneering the path of knowledge, so it witnessed a great prosperity in secondary education, so several important schools appeared that contributed to advancing the wheel of learning forward, including Baghdad College High School, which was founded under the auspices of Jesuit parents and became a model for secondary schools in Iraq in terms of teaching levels, scientific levels for students, and the degree of high discipline they have, and I promised Adhamiya High School For boys, one of the leading scientific and educational institutions In Iraq, as it occupied a distinguished position among the secondary schools for boys, and as a result of the increased awareness among the sons of Adhamiya, several secondary schools for girls were opened, such as Al-Adhamiya Secondary School for Girls and Al-Hariri Secondary School for Girls, who returned from the prominent Adhamiya schools for girls due to their good organization and exemplary managemen.
Objective(s): To determine the prevalence of ADHD among elementary school pupils; identify the association between pupil's level of ADHD and age, etc., and investigate the differences in pupils ADHD based on gender, and grade.
Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted on elementary school pupils. The study started from the period of 16th of September 2019 to the 1st of October 2020. A cluster sample of 800 pupils was selected. Methodology: Using the pre-experimental design of the current study, for one group of 47 trainers working at the private Autism Centers in Baghdad, data was collected from 8/January / 2022 to 13 /February /2022. Using non-probability samples (convenient samples), self-management technology in which trainers fill out the questionnaire form themselves was used in the data collection process; it was analyzed through descriptive and inference statistics.
