The role of training in promote banking compliance monitor procedures: An applied research in a sample of Iraqi banks
...Show More Authors

Training has occupied a leading position in a large number of developed and developing countries alike in order to develop the skills of workers in line with the changes and developments of the era, including monitoring compliance in banks, which is one of the most important jobs in banking work to trailing and monitor the bank’s compliance with laws, regulations and instructions in order to achieve its goals Therefore, the problem of this research focuses on the following question: What is the role of training in enhancing banking compliance at the present time? In order to clarify the relationship between the main and sub-research variables, two main hypotheses and three sub-hypotheses were formulated for each hypothesis, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool in collecting data and information related to the research, which was distributed to the employees of the Banking Compliance Supervision Department in banks, the research sample of (12) banks, two governmental and ten Private banks, using the descriptive and analytical approach, as well as the use of the simple linear correlation coefficient and the simple linear regression analysis to test the research hypotheses. The statistical analyzes have produced a number of results, perhaps the most prominent of which is the presence of a statistically significant relationship between the training and procedures of the Banking Compliance Monitor and the presence of a statistically significant effect between the training and procedures of the Banking Compliance Monitor, Which requires banks to provide scientific resources to compliance auditors to increase their banking and legal expertise, enhance analytical skills, and familiarity with regulations, legislation, and professional and ethical oversight requirements.

Synthesis, Characterization, Antioxidant Content and Antibacterial Study of New Ligand and Its Complexes from Sulfonic Acid and 2-Phthalaldehyde
...Show More Authors

The research includes preparation of a new Schiff base from the condensation of sulfonic acid with 2-phthalaldehyde by dissolving (0.2 g, 0.346 mmole) of the ligand (L) in (10 ml) of absolute ethanol, then 0.06 g of potassium hydroxide (KOH) dissolved in 10 ml of distilled water added to it and reacting the product with some binary metal salts (Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Cd, Zn, Pt, Hg). The biological study was conducted against two types of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Staphylococcus. aureus and Escherichia coli, and the fungus Candida albicans was also used. All the prepared complexes showed higher activity against bacteria and fungi than the ligand for the free Schiff base. The total antioxidant content of the ligand and the c

Sustainable adsorptive removal of high concentration organic contaminants from water using biodegradable Gum-Acacia integrated magnetite nanoparticles hydrogel adsorbent
...Show More Authors

Release of industrial effluents comprising dyes in water bodies is one of the foremost causes of water pollution. Therefore, the proper and proficient treatment of these dyes contaminated left-over material before their release is crucial. Herein, an eco-friendly biological macromolecule Gum-Acacia (GA) integrated Fe3O4 nanoparticles composite hydrogel was manufactured via co-precipitation technique for effective adsorption of Congo red (CR) dye existing in water bodies. The as-prepared magnetic GA/Fe3O4 composite hydrogel was characterized by FTIR, XRD, EDX, VSM, SEM, and BET techniques. These studies discovered the fruitful fabrication of biodegradable magnetic GA/Fe3O4 composite hydrogel possessing porous structure with large surface are

Spectroscopic and Biological activity studies of azo ligand type (N,O)and its complexes with CrIII, MnII and FeII ions
...Show More Authors

Azo derivative ligand[H3L] have been synthesized by the reaction of diazonium salt of p-amino benzoic acid with orcinol in(1:1)mole ratio. The bidente ligand was reacted with the metal ions MnII,FeIIandCrIIIin(2:1)mole ratio via reflux in ethanol using Et3N as a base to give complexes of the general formula: [ M(H2L)2(H2O)x]Cly The synthesized compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods[ I.R , UV-Vis, A.A and H1 NMR]along with melting point, chloride content and conductivity measurements. The complexes were screend for their in vitro antibacterial activity against one strain of staphylococcus as Gram(+) positive and one strain of pseudomonas as Gram(-) Negative, using the agar diffusion technique.

*Synthesis, spectral studies and antimicrobial evaluation of 6,6--(1,2-benzenediazo) bis (3-amino benzoic acid) complexes with some metal ions
...Show More Authors

The Ligand 6,6--(1,2-benzenediazo) bis (3-aminobenzoicacid) derived from o-phenylenediamine and 3-aminobenzoicacid was synthesized. The prepared ligand was identified by Microelemental Analysis, 1HNMR, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic techniques. Treatment of the ligand with the following metal ions (CoII, NiII, CuII and ZnII ) in aqueous ethanol with a 1:1 M:L ratio and at optimum pH. Characterization of these compounds has been done on the basis of elemental analysis, electronic data, FT-IR and UV-Vis, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The nature of the complexes formed were studied following the mole ratio and continuous variation methods, Beer's law obeyed over a concentration range (1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M). H
