An idiom is a group of words whose meaning put together is different from the meaning of
individual words. English is a rich language when it comes to idioms, they represent variety. For
foreign learners, idioms are problematic because even if they know the meaning of individual
words that compose an idiom the meaning of it might be something completely different.
The present study investigates Iraqi third year college students’ recognition of idioms. To
achieve this, the researchers have conducted a test which comprises three questions. Certain
conclusions are reached here along with some suggestions and recommendations.

         This study includes analytical methods for the determination of the drug amoxicillin trihydrate (Amox.) in some pharmaceutical preparations using Cobalt ion (Co(II)) as complexing metal. The best conditions for complexation were: the reaction time was 20 minutes, pH=1.5 and the best temperature of reaction was 70 ËšC. Benzyl alcohol was the best solvent for extraction the complex.

This paper examines the change in planning pattern In Lebanon, which relies on vehicles as a semi-single mode of transport, and directing it towards re-shaping the city and introducing concepts of "smooth or flexible" mobility in its schemes; the concept of a "compact city" with an infrastructure based on a flexible mobility culture. The paper presents mainly the dynamic response of an angle ply composite laminated plates subjected to thermo-mechanical loading.
