The pioneer contributions included a sign for Iraqi Bryoflora were those of (Juratzka &
Milde) and Schiffner published at the end of the 19th century i.e. (1870 & 1897) respectively.
However, throughout the whole next century, the 20th, only few papers, by different authors,
have been published separately. They are Schiffner (1913); Handel-Mazzetti (1914); Froelich
(1959); Vondracek (1962 & 1965); Agnew &Townsend (1970); Agnew ( 1973 ) ; Agnew&
Vondracek (1975); Long (1979); Al-Ni’ma (1994). The most comprehensive work among
them was the “Moss Flora of Iraq” by Agnew & Vondracek (1975). It included a description
of 54 genera and 145 species with an identification key in addition to notes

A survey of chrysidid wasps and an identification key to the genera from different localities in Iraq are provided. The genus Pseudomalus Ashmead, 1902 with Pseudomalus auratus (Linnaeus) and Omalus timidus (Nurse), are new records from Iraq. As well, a preliminary checklist of Iraq’s Chrysididae is suggested. Twenty species within nine genera in two subfamilies have been included in the current list. Historical information is provided together with remarks on the current taxonomic status and the particular validity for some species.

In this study, we came across various concepts in the three major Gokturk inscriptions, namely Kul Tigin, Bilge Kagan and Tunyukuk. We classified these concepts under 33 main headings such as “proper names, geography, cities, tribe, descriptive names, colors, language materials, time, plants, animals, humans, kinship, titles and ranks, professions, identity, bodun, number, politics, trade, art, wealth and poverty, religion and belief, ceremony” etc. In our study, we only considered the words that constitute nouns. Physical and chemical adsorption analyses were carried out by nitrogen gas using ASTM apparatus at 77 K
and hydrogen gas using volumetric apparatus at room temperature respectively. These analyses were used for
determination the effect of coke deposition and poisoning metal on surface area, pore size distribution and
metal surface area of fresh and spent hydrodesulphurization catalyst Co-Mo\Al2O3 .
Samples of catalyst (fresh and spent) used in this study are taken from AL-Dura refinery.

For the generality of fuzzy ideals in TM-algebra, a cubic ideal in this algebra has been studied, such as cubic ideals and cubic T-ideals. Some properties of these ideals are investigated. Also, we show that the cubic T-ideal is a cubic ideal, but the converse is not generally valid. In addition, a cubic sub-algebra is defined, and new relations between the level subset and a cubic sub-algebra are discussed. After that, cubic ideals and cubic T-ideals under homomorphism are studied, and the image (pre-image) of cubic T-ideals is discussed. Finally, the Cartesian product of cubic ideals in Cartesian product TM-algebras is given. We proved that the product of two cubic ideals of the Cartesian product of two TM-algebras is also a cubic ideal.

         Continuous functions are novel concepts in topology. Many topologists contributed to the theory of continuous functions in topology. The present authors continued the study on continuous functions by utilizing the concept of gpα-closed sets in topology and introduced the concepts of weakly, subweakly and almost continuous functions. The Esterification kinetics of acetic acid with ethanol in the presence of sulfuric acid as a homogenous catalyst was studied with isothermal batch experiments at 50-60°C and at a different molar ratio of ethanol to acetic acid [EtOH/Ac]. Investigation of kinetics of the reaction indicated that the low of [EtOH/Ac] molar ratio is favored for esterification reaction, this is due to the reaction is catalyzed by acid. The maximum conversion, approximately 80% was obtained at 60°C for molar ratio of 10 EtOH/Ac. Diyala Governorate was recently exposed to high flood waves discharged from Hemrin Dam. Since the dam was at its full capacity during the flood period, these waves were discharged to the Diyala River. Because of the reduction in Diyala River capacity to 750m³/s, the cities and villages on both sides of the river banks were inundated. Thus, the study's objective is to design a flood escape out of the Diyala River, to discharge the flood wave through it. The flood escape simulation was done by using HEC- RAS software.
