The aim of research is to identify the effect of using Waks strategy upon acquiring the psychological concepts and mind habits for students in the college of education. An experimental design with a partial adjustment of two experimental and control groups as well as a posttest were employed. The researcher divided the study sample into two groups: group one consisted of (38) students to represent the experimental group that was taught according to the waks strategy, and group two consisted of (35) students to represent the control group that was taught according to the traditional method. The sample was chosen based on some variables namely (Intelligence, Prior knowledge). The researcher has designed the research tools as the test of acquisition of psychological concepts, and mind habits scale, which were proved their validity and reliability. The results showed a superiority of the experimental group in the acquisition of Psychological Concepts.

This research aims to identify the vigilant personality of University teachers in term of gender. To this end, the researcher used the scale of Al-tememe (2017) for the vigilant personality, the scale was administered to the sample of the study which was (100) male and female teachers. The results have shown that university teachers generally have a vigilant personality, as well as the result showed a difference between male and female teachers on the level of vigilant personality in favor of males. In the light of these results the researcher has come with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
The current research aims to identify the Vocational Self of the educational counselors as well as to identify the significant difference in the professional self according to the gender variable (male-female). The researcher adopted the scale of al-hasani (2015), which consisted of (34) items. It was applied to a sample of (300) school counselors (male-female) who were randomly selected from the six directorates in the Baghdad governorate for the academic year 2020/2021. The results showed that the research sample of educational counselors has a vocational self-concept. There are no statistically significant differences in the vocational self-concept between males and females among the educational counselors.
The aim of this research is to measure the logical maturity of kindergarten children. To achieve this aim, the researcher adopted the scale of Gold Schmid and Bentler (1968), which was translated to the Arabic language by Shabili (1988). Show MoreThe triggering effect for the face pumping of Nd:YVO4 disc medium of 4×5×0.5 mm was investigated using bulk diode laser at different resonator cavity length in pulse mode and at repetition rate of 1.3kHz. The maximum emitted peak power was found to be 100, 82, and 66 mW for resonator lengths of 10, 13.5, and 17.5 cm respectively, while the threshold pumping power was found to be 41mW. The maximum emitted peak power obtained was 300 mW when using external triggering and 10cm length, with repetition of 3Hz.
