Metacognitive thinking supports the ability of the individual to built asuitable strategy to bring information he needs and the full awareness of this strategy leads to develop the mental processes and the cognitive skills with the learning. cognitive achievement to the ability of acquiring cognitive by self research . This study aimed to identifying the level of metacognitive thinking among the students of the Baghdad university according to ( gender , specialization (scientific , human ),and the grade (the 1st and the 4th) variables . The results show that the students have metacognitive thinking where the most of the sample are within the average becomes of their acquiring to the information leading to develop their mental skills and their continuous learning of the different cognition fields . From these results , we notice that the nature of learning process for the university students submit to the same degree of the interesting and same educational systems learning to create astute of awareness among the students to interest in the thinking processes leading to achieve the planning learning goals by the student .
The study aims to identify the cognitive bias and the level of emotional thinking among university students, besides, identifying the significant differences between male and female students regarding those two variables, and determine if there is a correlation between cognitive bias and emotional thinking. To this end, two scales were adopted to collect needed data: cognitive bias scale designed by (Al-any, 2015), composed of (14) items, and emotional thinking scale designed by (Abdu Allah, 2017), consisted of (27) items. Show Moreأن الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو التحليل الهيكلي لبنية مقياس الصحة النفسية لطلبة الجامعة الذي طورته الجنابي (1991) باستخدام التحليل العاملي. إن 66 طالبا و95 طالبة من كلية التربية في الجامعة المستنصرية قد استجابوا لفقرات المقياس. وقد أظهر التحليل العاملي وجود خمسة عوامل فسرت 30% من التباين, وان هذه العوامل هي الإستقرار العائلي، والأمن الاقتصادي، والمسؤولية الإجتماعية، وتقدير الذات، والأمن النفسي.
The study seeks to explore the mental-math level among intermediate-school students. To this end, the researcher raised a question. What the level of mental math among students in the intermediate stage? Total of (576) male and female students were chosen from different schools at Al-karkh side \ general directorate of Baghdad education. So as to answer research question and hypothesis, a questionnaire of (30) items designed by the authors was administered to the study sample.
