The current study aimed at identifying the impact of each of the full and part time summer enrichment programs on the performance of gifted students. Moreover, it aimed to study the difference between the full and part time programs on the performance of gifted students. The study sample consisted of (115) students from the full time programs and (137) students from the part time programs, they have been randomly selected from the gifted students participating in the full and part time summer enrichment programs. The researcher used the scale of student performance. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the full time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Furthermore, the results showed a statistically significant difference between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs in the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, research skills, critical thinking skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance. Whereas, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post applications of the students participating in the part time programs on the dimension of motivation. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (scientific knowledge, scientific research skills, creative thinking, leadership, motivation, and independence) and the total score on the scale of student performance in favor of the full time programs. While the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the full and part time programs on the dimensions of (critical thinking, and problem solving). Results were discussed in light of the research literature, and some recommendations related to the results of the research topic were presented.
In this work, magnesium aluminate spinel (MA) (MgO 28 wt%, Al2O3 72 wt%) stoichiometric compound , were synthesized via solid state reaction (SSR) Single firing stage, and the impact of sintering on the physical properties and thermal properties as well as the fine structure and morphology of the ceramic product were examined. This study examines the factors that affect oral participation of six Arab postgraduate students (two Iraqis, two Jordanians, and two Libyans), namely, three male participants and three female participants. For this purpose, a semi-structured interview was employed. The results showed that female as well male interviewees share some factors that make oral participation in classroom disheartening. These factors include high levels of anxiety, lack of confidence, shyness, and lack of preparation. It was also that there is no difference between male and female interviewees in relation to the factors that make them feel disheartened from oral classroom participation.
In this paper, Pentacene based-organic field effect transistors (OFETs) by using different layers (monolayer, bilayer and trilayer) for three different gate insulators (ZrO2, PVA and CYEPL) were studied its current–voltage (I-V) characteristics by using the gradual-channel approximation model. The device exhibits a typical output curve of a field-effect transistor (FET). Source-drain voltage (Vds) was also investigated to study the effects of gate dielectric on electrical performance for OFET. The effect of capacitancesemiconductor in performance OFETs was considered. The values of current and transconductance which calculated using MATLAB simulation. It exhibited a value of current increase with increasing source-drain voltage.
