The present study aims to identify the most and the least common teaching practices among faculty members in Northern Border University according to brain-based learning theory, as well as to identify the effect of sex, qualifications, faculty type, and years of experiences in teaching practices. The study sample consisted of (199) participants divided into 100 males and 99 females. The study results revealed that the most teaching practice among the study sample was ‘I am trying to create an Environment of encouragement and support within the classroom which found to be (4.4623). As for the least teaching practice was ‘I use a natural musical sounds to create student's mood to learn’ found to be (2.2965). The study results also included other data belonging to the sub-questions of study problem. The study came out with some recommendations and future suggestions.

Forty five wound specimens were collected from patients suffering from wound infections and taken from various hospitals in Ibb city, Yemen. The study was to determine synergic antibacterial activity of between mountain honey and Argemone mexicana plant. Isolation, identification of bacterial isolates and antibiotic sensitivity test were done. Agar-disc and agar-well diffusion method were carried to determine antibacterial activity of honey, Argemone mexicana plant and a mixture of them against bacterial isolates. Out of 45 specimens, 29 (64.4%) gave positive cultures. Staphylococcus aureus was the predominant bacterial pathogens with percentage (72.4%) followed by Pseudomonas aeruginosa (17.2%) and Staphylococcus epidermidis (10.4%).

The objective of this work is to investigate the performance of a conventional three phase induction motor supplied by unbalanced voltages. An effort to study the motor steady state performance under this disturbance is introduced. Using per phase equivalent circuit analysis with the concept of symmetrical components approach, the steady state performance is theoretically calculated. Also, a model for the induction motor with the MATLAB/Simulink SPS tools has been implemented and steady state results were obtained. Both results are compared and show good correlation as well. A surface fitting model is developed based on calorimeter data for two famous brands of household compressors. Correlation equations of ten coefficient polynomials were found as a function of refrigerant saturating and evaporating temperatures in range of (-35℃ to -10℃) using Matlab software for cooling capacity, power consumption, and refrigerant mass flow rate.
Additional correlations equations for these variables as a quick choice selection for a proper compressor use at ASHRAE standard that cover a range of swept volume range (2.24-11.15) cm3.
