The study aims to identify the cognitive bias and the level of emotional thinking among university students, besides, identifying the significant differences between male and female students regarding those two variables, and determine if there is a correlation between cognitive bias and emotional thinking. To this end, two scales were adopted to collect needed data: cognitive bias scale designed by (Al-any, 2015), composed of (14) items, and emotional thinking scale designed by (Abdu Allah, 2017), consisted of (27) items. These two scales were administered to (140) students composed the study sample. They were chosen from four different colleges at Al-mustansiriyah University for the academic year (2017-1018). The findings revealed that

The great scientific evolution and the expansion of the demands of life, especially in the field of architectural design make human's need increased to use his abilities and all possibilities in active way to have a main role in this progress. To achieve his role in this progression which is can not be achieved and accomplished only by depending on  the mental capacity including intelligence spatial / visual, which is one of the branches of the theory of multiple intelligences. 2. Identify the differences in Personality Type Observer among the University students according to variable of Sex (male / female). And according to variable of Specialization (scientific / literary)
3. Measurement of Withdrawal of the University students.
4. Identify the differences in Withdrawal among the University students according to variable of Sex (male / female). And according to variable of Specialization (scientific / literary).
5. Identify the relationship between Personality Type Observer and Withdrawal.

This study aimed to measure the innovative thinking and cognitive cessation among university students. The sample consisted of (400) male and female students at al Mustansiriya University for the academic year (2018/2019). The results of the study showed that there are differences in innovative thinking and cognitive inhibition according to the gender variable in favor of males. There is a positive relationship between innovative thinking and cognitive inhibition. In light of these findings, the researcher presented a set of conclusions and recommendations.
